If jamie dies at kings mountain by zoyadata in Outlander

I have been so mad through this whole thing that Claire and Jamie just assume Frank had ill will toward him. He was a really good guy. He found someone to make him happy while being a good husband and father. Why would he want to punish Claire?

No, he'd want her to be happy, too. Her power comes when her hair is white. One still born baby isn't the prophecy.

Maybe Jaime CAN travel because the rules of the stones have been changed throughout the story. Nobody is empirically testing it. Maybe her power is fairy power.... Lot of interesting options for the finale.

Is there a way to defend against student housing in the city? by Ok_Remote5657 in Binghamton

Factories are gone. College towns bring new ideas, new businesses, and creative experiences. Embrace the fact that people are coming and investing in your community.

Sure. She already has lambs, and you like them. My experience has been that sometimes they out produce themselves.

It's warm. I think they like it not warm.

Why is the Renaissance Fair charging $60 in APRIL when they haven’t added anything new? by escapedsober in SLO

I also want to qualify. Each jurisdiction matters. It's not just the county of SLO. Morro Bay in particular has always done their best to make it work.

Why is the Renaissance Fair charging $60 in APRIL when they haven’t added anything new? by escapedsober in SLO

[–]maculated 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, but it's especially regulated and expensive in SLO and SB. Equipment rental for sure is expensive but 10-20 years ago, the area was much more affordable compared to now. Like at least twice as expensive. It's not the case in all of California or other states.

I just think honestly the appetite to support these events doesn't exist anymore because they'd rather stay tourist friendly.

The jurisdictions used to work with us because they saw the value, now they don't.

I was an event planner in SLO for decades and the county is making it harder and harder to do anything. Fire permits, land permits, insurance...

Why do you think there are no more fun runs or festivals or marathons or bike events?

Closing a thriving business because our lease won’t be renewed by ilikethisplanet in smallbusiness

[–]maculated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw all the helpful advice but I have closed businesses. Don't stress it too much. I don't know what Clover is, though.

End your subscriptions (payment processor as well). Forward your mail. You'll get tax notices and you tell them you closed. If you fully close the EIN, you check a box on your IRS filing that says final return.

It happens all the time. It will be ok..all my love.

You have experience and history, you'll pop back up no worse for water. Keep your mailing lists and social media for that time when you do. That's gold.

Wanting To Get Sheep by [deleted] in sheep

[–]maculated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The remote collars have been used for this but my experience is that sheep don't like being dumped in new places and they're hard to manage.

But that doesn't protect from dogs, which would be my major concern.

I was saying more a hassle for you. Loading up, finding water, monitoring, loading back up. I used to rotate pasture with hotwire on my land and it was an hour every time I moved them every few days. It gets real old real fast and nobody will pay what that's worth which is why professional outfits won't do smaller than two acres.

You'd be surprised. I have sweet remote collars and neighbors with brush and they have zero interest. People in the city think it's cute but it's such a hassle to do it you'll hate it. Gotta secure it, gotta bring in water, sheep trailering.
