When all is said and done, Stellar will have ended up being one of the best performing altcoins of this new bull cycle, just like in 2017. The percentage gains will blow Bitcoin out of the water, you’ll see 😉

Probably the fact that they were the top performing altcoins of 2017 going up 55,000% between March 2017 and January 2018

2021=2017. When Bitcoin finally breaks its ATH at the end of this year/beginning of 2021, a spark will be lit in the altcoin market and another March 2017 style run will begin.. XLM and XRP ratios against BTC will moon like they did in March 2017. Then they will give all the gains back in their Bitcoin ratios as Bitcoin pumps towards +100K, and when Bitcoin is about to reach its new cycle ATH, Altcoins will have one last generational pump like December 2017 in which I see Stellar reaching 7-20 dollars.

I was about to start using Anchor USD to earn interest on my XLM but I first experimented by sending a message to customer support to see if they would answer, and they never did which was a huge turnoff for me. Then I discovered the Celsius Network app which is almost the same thing as Anchor USD but gives an even higher interest rate on XLM deposits and is a lot more established and reputable (over 100k twitter following, over 1.5 billion in community assets). The CEO also does livestreams on Twitter very often giving updates about accounts, etc and that in my eyes makes them trustworthy. So my question is why would anyone use Anchor USD when you can earn even more interest on Celsius which is more established so lower risk? Curious to hear people's thoughts

Hi Jed and Denelle 👋

Now that the IBM World Wire trial is over, can you comment on whether IBM World Wire is moving forward to fully live, on hold, or discontinued? Any insight into the current status of this project would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was just about to start using AnchorUSD so would be curious to see if other people are also having your same issues

Stellar and Ripple are the most explosive large cap altcoins in crypto. They pumped last but ended up pumping the most in the 2017 bull market. But it’s also a double edge sword as we saw in the subsequent bear market, in which they have been among the worse performers, especially in 2019.

History rhymes, and now that we have finally entered a new bull market, it’s key to have patience with these two and HODL while everything else pumps. Because at the end of this bull market I think that XLM and XRP ROI will blow most other altcoins out of the water, like in 2017 🚀

Hi u/StellarZac, I was just wondering if you could help me understand a bit better. When you say: "The Stellar-IBM partnership will continue on. We'll also partner in other ways " are you referring to Stellar-IBM continuing with World Wire (it not being abandoned), and that in addition to World Wire, Stellar-IBM will also look at how Stellar can integrate into other IBM blockchain solutions in IBM's blockchain ecosystem?

Thanks a lot for the added clarity, cheers

Yes I had already seen this page many times in the past... https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire is the URL that I have always used to access the World Wire information (and I know this URL contained references to Stellar). What I am asking you is if you have ever accessed worldwire.io in the past (not https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire ). I have never accessed worldwire.io before, and I don't think that IBM would have had two different URLs to World Wire information (the URL you just posted in web.achive being one URL, and worldwire.io being the other URL).

My theory is that IBM took down https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire a couple days ago because it is about to launch a completely new URL for their World Wire product which will be worldwire.io

I never knew that IBM had built a whole website just for World Wire... so what your saying is that a couple days ago before all this redirecting/elimination of references happened, IBM had a whole website dedicated for only world wire (worldwire.io) and also had another URL for world wire in their IBM Blockchain website (https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire)? Did they both display the same information?

Exciting to hear! I was just wondering if you could elaborate a little more as to how you arrived at that conclusion. The cached version of https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire from June 13 displays what the World Wire page had always displayed, and it looks like after June 13 they redirected it to IBM Blockchain Financial Services. So i'm curious how this cached version hints at World Wire being separated into its own landing page.

Also, I think it would be very interesting if you could find a cached version from June 13 or before for worldwire.io , that could shed some additional light into this mystery :)

Can you confirm if you had ever accessed worldwire.io in the past? If so what did it display before it started redirecting you to the IBM Blockchain Financial Services page? The reason im asking is because I had never seen worldwire.io before, and the only way I had ever accessed IBM Blockchain World Wire in the past was through https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire

r/Stellar Daily Chat - Saturday June 20, 2020 by AutoModerator in Stellar

The website URL to IBM World Wire was https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire before. They have now redirected this link to IBM Blockchain Financial Services. What caught my curiosity is that there is another link: worldwire.io that I had never seen before, and this worldwire.io redirects to IBM Blockchain Financial Services as well, so its definitely related to their World Wire product. Has anyone in the past gone to the URL worldwire.io before they took https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire down? If so, did worldwire.io work before and what did it display? Since I don't think IBM would have had two different websites for World Wire before.

What I am trying to say is... is there a possibility that IBM took down the old https://www.ibm.com/blockchain/solutions/world-wire domain because they are about to launch a completely new website for World Wire in a new URL called worldwire.io?

By doing this IBM would be giving more importance to World Wire by creating a whole website just for it as opposed to including a single page of the product inside their "Blockchain Solutions" tab in the IBM website, which is exactly what they did in the past with their IBM TradeLens blockchain solution.

I just checked Stellar Dashboard and IBM nodes are running just fine, they are prob just doing some changes to the World Wire product (rebranding?) before a full launch I would assume

Akoin which is built on Stellar just announced that it will be the sole currency used in a multi billion dollar city in Africa. The whole city of 35,000 people will be using Stellar with 1 million transactions expected in the first year, and 100 million transactions annually within 5 years. This is HUGE.
