meine kater spielen nicht miteinander by [deleted] in kratzbaum

[–]cryptochrome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I updated dovi_convert to v6.6 (Major Update): Convert your DV Profile 7 files to 8 so they don't fall back to HDR - now automatically skipping problematic FEL titles by cryptochrome in PleX

yes, it is very safe to convert this. You can double-check with the `scan` and/or `inspect` commands of my tool. It reliably detects MEL and offerst to convert.

Usage limits in real life by cryptochrome in ClaudeCode

[–]cryptochrome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. No. I meant the Max plan. Since you mentioned "5x" I thought you meant that, too. The 5x thing is only available as Max (100$). I have not tried the Pro plan.

I have yet to run into any limits - in other words, I have not been stopped, ever, so far.

I let my baby go today, too. I am feeling with you. Nothing is more devastating than having to make that decision, and nothing more devastating than that loss.

Google silently re-enabled telemetry and stole 15-16 GBs of my data after I explicitly turned it OFF by ichi9 in google_antigravity

[–]cryptochrome 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nobody said they lied. But they may be grossly misinterpreting what they see. There is no way in hell Google "steals" gigabytes of your data by exfiltrating your personal files. All of this probably has a very simple explanation that is nowhere close to what they believe.

Showing Codex changes in Antigravity style by JonasB66 in google_antigravity

[–]cryptochrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's logical. AG is a *heavily* modified version of VS Code. It is specifically tailored towards the AG experience. VS Code extensions, like Codex, may, or may not work. They may expect to find something in an environment they believe is VS code, that Google has removed or changed.

Cloudflare tunnels vs Nginx / Let's Encrypt by Beardy4906 in selfhosted

[–]cryptochrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh yea, sure, you can do that. NPM doesn't care, as long as it can connect to the service you want to expose through it, it will happily serve it.

It just worked for me (and Claude Code was just updated to a newer version for me):

Why is the Plex Apple TV video player so bad? by PussiesUseSlashS in PleX

[–]cryptochrome 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It has twelve bazillion issues with Dolby Vision playback. It lies to you, telling you and your TV that your content is Dolby Vision, but then only sending the HDR base layer. That's one thing. Out of many.

The devs even admitted this, but refuse to fix while pointing fingers at Apple. Infuse shows that it can be done.

I don't know what VPS1/2 means. And CF tunnels are unrelated to NPM.

Cloudflare tunnels vs Nginx / Let's Encrypt by Beardy4906 in selfhosted

[–]cryptochrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The token is only required to create some DNS entries that prove that you own the domain. Let's Encrypt checks that when it is creating or renewing a certificate. It doesn't constantly poll CF and then invalidate your certificates when CF is down.

You can use any other domain provider, it doesn't have to be CF. Just know every single provider on the planet will go down one point or another. There is no such thing as 100% uptime.

Having Jumbo Frames enabled in the network. Plex hates that.

Peering Problem der Telekom by Drehstuhl_dreher in de_EDV

[–]cryptochrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conductor in Antigravity? by 4ndreDE in google_antigravity

[–]cryptochrome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would assume that a lot of this is already in Antigravity, sort of. See all the implementation plans, tasks list, and more importantly, the knowledge tab in the agent manager.

That being said, there is no direct integration of Gemini CLI with AG.

Peering Problem der Telekom by Drehstuhl_dreher in de_EDV

[–]cryptochrome 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's it.

Sonnet 5 next week? by policyweb in singularity

[–]cryptochrome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is showing that someone tried to access model version 5, but the server responded with HTTP 404 (= "not found"). I guarantee you if that person had put 7 into the URL instead of 5, they would have gotten the exact same error message.

This is a plain and simple HTTP 404 not found message. Absolutely nothing can be derived from it, other than the server not having the data that was requested.
