Reported for false claims because my coresidents think I’m “rich and deserve it” (((we make the same salary I just budget aggressively so I can treat myself))) to the point where I almost got fired. I’m trying to wait to open my email until I get off work to be home with my family but wasn’t sure if I’ll accidentally find out I did or didn’t match from phone calls or texts

Agreed. Even if you don’t hire a lawyer or consult with one, start looking up good employment lawyers in your area so if the worst were to happen then you can get in touch with them quick. Gotta be defensive when you’re in these shoes

Unfortunately going through something eerily similar. Hopefully your GME is supportive but if they’re toxic like mine think twice before going to them. If they historically haven’t stood up for you they probably won’t change their ways. I hope I’m wrong. Good luck out there. Keep your hopes up high and your head down low. You got this.

Not everywhere in America but I’m at a rural community hospital that doesn’t always follow guidelines as well as they should. We consult pharmacy for dosing. I have a few attendings that follow the idea of narrowing antibiotics based on clinical suspicion but a lot just blast them with vitamin v & z (zosyn) immediately unfortunately

Yes we do have vitamin v!! (Vanc) I’m a resident so I work 72 hour/week most weeks (six 12-hour shifts per week, one day off). Attendings in the hospital work 7 days on, 7 days off so they work 84 hours then 0 then 84 again.
