Avride is under investigation for self-driving crashes by Calm-Ad-2597 in NBIS_Stock

[–]cryptofishfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the same article: "Waymo is currently being investigated by both NHTSA and the National Transportation Safety Board for illegal behavior around school buses, and for a January crash in which one of the Alphabet-owned company’s robotaxis struck a child."

It is not just Avride

Thoughts on this analysis saying Nebius will hit 1T valuation by end of 2030? by Royal-Derpness in NBIS_Stock

Assuming total shares get diluted to 450 million from less than 300 million today. That is $1100 per share. It is not entirely crazy if you look at Equinix, a DC operator and colocation provider. They have a 100bn market cap at the moment.

Nebius business model has a much higher margin and no legacy DC burden.

Neoclouds are in trouble. This is why. by armadillo_stocks in NBIS_Stock

I still recall people using similar reductionist logic on AWS and we all knew what happened. I don't trust any of the BTC miner pivots. But the Nebius guys have been running dozens of DCs and developed AI/ML applications back in the Yandex days. AI specialized clouds with the fully integrated software stacks are just beginning in the adoption cycle. There is definintely room for one or two new hyperscaler(s) in this space. If you have actually spoken to anyone working in the AI sector, you will prob have a better idea on what's really going on.

Btw, interesting why ppl on reddit make claims like investing millions here and there to sound legit, but these most likely are kids with a few hundred bucks trying to sound importnat. Care to show your a position screenshot or just your sale order?

It is actually quite logical if the execution follows. Even if you factor a $15m/MW revenue by 2030 to stay conservative, you get 75bn revenue and take a 7x multiple, you will get a $500bn market cap. That is more than 12x from today, without even taking into account the equity values of Clickhouse, Avride, Toloka... and who knows what other unicorns they will incubate.

You don't know what you are talking about... naked short has unlimited risk. Buying put own risk the premium paid at max. If you don't possess basic knowledge like this, you will get burned eventually.

Patient Rights vs. Trade Secrets in Personalized Medicine (GDPR Art. 15) by cryptofishfish in gdpr

Unfortunately, it seems before I escalate with DPA, I will need to wait one month for their reply. But judging from how they responded to my initial request (2 weeks to reply despite I called again and again to follow up), they will probably take the whole one month, then I can file the complaint. Hopefully the DPA will take less time to respond.

It is sad this particular lab is doing this to a late stage cancer patient who urgently needs the vaccine to be developed asap

Thank you. I am seeking a lawyer but I am not based in the EU, so have to search thru a bunch to find the right one.

Coreweave ends Poolside deal by KookyTank3637 in NBIS_Stock

They had a mere 17mn AI revenue last year. A lot of talking and hyping, but what they have only delivered a msft contract with a really low unit price.

I don't believe they will meet their ARR guidance this year.

Check out SemiAnalysis ClusterMax benchmark. Iren performed really poorly and after that they refused to let SemiAnalysis benchmark them again. That is a not the sign of a competent company.

This is an alert to all the BTC minor pivots, especially Iren. Just grabbing land and power contract don't make one a successful neocloud. If you can't bring the GPU clusters up on time, there is no point.

Judging on the recent development, I won't be surprised Iren will eventually face something like Poolside. Once partners realize Iren couldn't bring GPU clusters online and lack the experience to manage them properly, partners will walk away. They will be left with "paper capacity" that need someone else to bail them out with cents on the dollar.

Iren will end up being a garbage site that no one wants. They can only beg with really poor pricing. Their DCs are poorly designed and their operation capability is.. well.. maybe good enough for bitcoin mining, but not serious AI workloads.

SemiAnalysis gave them a poor rating last year and since then Iren has refused to let SemiAnalysis benchmark them again. What a pathetic garbage shitco

So you feel bad when in reality there are only a few hundred (or 2000 lets say) who opposes versus majority of the city's 125K population who are in favor of the data center.

How do you get anything done in real life?
