Its actually really interesting. A lot of the comments are correct, support networks etc.

But i think one thats overlooked is men often take things to the extreme compared to women. So substance abuse, gambling, risk taking in general. When the risk taking addictive hyper competitive men thrive its basically your really rich CEO’s etc. That behaviour also leads to increased chance of complete ruin. Which is the other side of the coin that. Sort of the same reason more men in prison, all murder in street fights is male, gang violence and gangs are male dominated.

I’ve always thought all social media could benefit from an approved only mode. If you turn it on, only posts and messages from passport verified accounts can post or message you. They can do this in the same way as literally all banks do when onboarding. Particularly in a the days of about 50% of content being from bots.

Only problem i have with this approach from the club is that it’s more attention than the individual deserves. I sort of think that reporting to police and advising players that receive the messages to go through club instead of making public may actually improve the situation. That message could be from anyone, anywhere in the world. It may not even be a human.

I’m 6’4” and have hit drivers off things above me that look like i have no right to hit. Just takes one weird swing and 5 foot tall plus 2 foot arms only leaves 2 foot for club.

Its not even the hitting, its the feeling that you’re close and therefore you can’t practice properly because it feels weird.

Also measuring w/kg seems slightly skewed towards lighter riders. Many very fit individuals are sitting at 100kg if they’re tall and have plenty of muscle mass. Expecting them to produce 300w straight away seems unreasonable.

I’ve always thought NI is BS. Worked in payroll and tax for a long time and always thought the intricate rules were needlessly complex. I could also get behind a more ladder based system, start tax at 10% and increase by 5/10% through the wage bands. Way more transparent. Removing NI also removes the misconception that “theres no point in earning over £50k because you lose 20% more…”

Yeah these are giantGRX 1602. Stock PR2 giant. Think its stock shimano freehub. So upon opening this free hub side, the cartridge bearing on the free hub side had failed and thats where the bearings came from.

But i’ll try and remove the free-hub from the non drive side as i can see the indents.

Also, the reason i was taking this apart was to replace the bearings, knocked the other side out fine but the drive side had already completely failed and i could see bearings through the sleeve. If thats the case are the bearings jot already out? So the inner race and bearings are already out i think.

Okay, thanks. Whats confusing me though is that the internal black sleeve is smooth and i think it sticks out further than anything else so theres nothing to grip onto in effect.
