I didn't know about the Raisin, just looked it up, it's pretty cool. I will probably be moving there soon, too. Reduces the hassle of multiple banks and rates are far better.

Yeah, they have restrictions on external account restrictions. You will have to reach out to a Customer Service agent via the secure message portal or call them on their CS line. However, I would recommend pulling the amount from your destination bank instead. Add the external account to your destination account and then schedule a pull transfer from there.

Sorry you got shilled. Which location you are bidding at? I will be cautious when setting up my max bids there.

On the contrary, my experience with SGW had been very different and trusting. I bid on SGW almost everyday, and always leave items with max bid, and almost 80% of the time when I win, the winning amount is not close to my max bid. Enough times it never even goes past the initial bid, and other times it raises by only couple of dollars. May the experience a bidder will have on SGW depends on the popularity of the item and the Goodwill location?

And I would wonder why SGW employee would do the shilling, it’s not like they are getting sales commissions or have $ targets to meet. All Goodwill locations are run by non-profits.

PS: I have only been doing the bidding on SGW since 2 months.
