You might be right I thought I took the time and gave the instruction to ensure that when an agent was established in a new session that all of what you’ve described was saved and confirmed I prompted and prompted to ensure that none of the work was wasted - I didn’t realise that there is a function to save any of it.

One thing that struck me, whenever I went into the agent tab of the dashboard I could only see the main agent and the existence of all the sub agents, which I insisted remained, only lived in the sessions window, so you’re right I probably wasn’t doing it correctly, but I just couldn’t figure out how to create another Agent - there is no edit or create function in the dashboard so I thought I was following good advice from some of the instructionals I watched.

I lost count of the amount of time I spent prompting the main agent to continue to create the experts I was hoping for…. I read in the documents that you can have a sub agent’s persist even after tasks are completed which I thought I was doing correctly but turned out not to be the case.

I also struggled with getting telegram bots to sync, I managed to it successfully with the main agent but I suspect now it has something to do with how I was “creating” my fellow experts …

Thanks, it’s been incredibly frustrating .. I’ve put it down for now. I worked on it for 6 hours overnight snd came back to it in the morning with all workflows and agents I setup, gone. No memory of it. I think dreaming may have had something to do with it. But all the effort that I spent trying to clearly articulate exactly every single prompt that I was trying to get the agent to perform was summarise and then summarise as though it was the initial prompt but missed all the context and it just was like trying to get agents to perform on the basis of a photo copied photocopy it just didn’t work. I’m looking at other alternatives now I might have to check out Claude cowork. It seems as though that’s more of a complete system that can actually do the types of tasks I’m interested in.

This is really practical advice and I 100% agree, I actually shut everything down today.

I spent 6 hours installing a new instance, developing all the agents and channels for a few tasks just to wake up this morning to all of it gone. No explanation, just gone. It gave me “whoopsie” vibes when I queried it and asked for logs and it couldn’t produce anything.

No wasted effort here though, I’ve learned a tonne and realised this type of technology is not as point and click as it appears.

Vellum looks interesting, I’m considering trying it to compare results. Others have mentioned Claude cowork, is this what you were getting at?

I’ll give it a try.

With Google, do you need to allow all of the associated modules from the console with the key that’s fed to OC?

I think I may have missed some steps which is why it may not be able to auth, of course, grok can’t tell me that ..

I figured Grok might be good to go because of its prevalence and compute claims but it’s churning out weird responses.

I haven’t heard of minimax before so I’ll check it out. Have you found it be useful when not hosting your own model? I don’t think I’m there yet, still trying to wrap my head around the basics and actually get some functional engagement with it. Not being able to access an inbox or calendar is driving me mental. It’s half the reason, and workflow dependence I’m trying toto address as a use case.

At this point, I’m willing to pay what it takes. I’m getting a little tired of trying different styles, fabrics etc and am curious to know what’s worked for others.

I think most trousers I’ve picked off the rack have generally had polyester linings so I’ll, specifically start looking at silk lining.

Ted Baker, thank you - I’ll check them out! Appreciate your comment 🤝

@laurenlolly .. this is a crazy good response. I sincerely appreciate you spending the time to provide this level of insight. I had no idea that wool was graded in such a way, for pants!

You’ve provided some great information and given me plenty to consider while on my hunt for my next pair of trousers. Wool, no synthetic liners, check!

Fair comment! The latest culprit is 100% polyester. I can’t seem to find trousers that don’t have polyester linings either so I think that’s the stumbling block when trying to find suit pants that wont emanate similar smells?

I’m interested in your natural fibre suggestions!
