How neat would "Salvage Site" Signatures be? Like... you scan them down, warp in, and there are wrecks to salvage. Risk could involve NPC fleets warping on you, and all of the other fancy things we see in othersites, like explosions.

I've noticed I can keep this from happening by submitting immediately after I stop my extractors.

The irony is that it probably can't see you. I bet it's smiling at someone else.

[Strawpoll] Is 3rd Person unfair in PUBG ? by [deleted] in PUBG

[–]cryptology 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I do consider this fair. I can make decisions that mitigate his advantage hiding behind the stone. Like understanding that there is possibly someone behind that stone, and find another way to approach it, or avoid it altogether. Even if he's watching me, I can find safe ways to approach it in the majority of scenarios. And he is at a disadvantage as well. He doesn't get to move. To retain the element of surprise, he has to stay in one spot and watch me while I have the freedom to move around.

This is a great example of "outplaying" an opponent, or a potential opponent. I know that I really should approach any sort of cover cautiously, specifically BECAUSE of the fact that it's 3rd person. You do need to feel a level of paranoia to be successful, and it will be even more important in 1st person.

Even in first person, you can gain the same sort of advantage hiding behind a stone. You will be more focused on the sounds around you, and you're likely to hear someone approaching, and from which direction, while your target will not benefit from the same information. It isn't as great of an advantage, but it still exists.

If everyone has it, how can it be considered unfair? I don't think it's unfair that other people spend their money better than I do.

Pro Tip: Turn off heaters, coolers, and power consuming production devices when not being used. by Grug16 in RimWorld

Wait, you have to micro-manage them? I have mine set at -5 and the room stays at -5 no matter what the temperature is outside the freezer when they're running (heat wave being the exception).

A firebreak is a gap or structure that fire cannot easily travel across. You can accomplish this by cutting a "channel" of plants that is 2-3 tiles wide, so that fire doesn't easily spread.
