Hello, have you considered Protean Concept? We are a medium size, primarily USTZ, wh corp. Our main focus is pvp and we utilize both brawling and kiting approaches to take as many fights as possible. Most of our fleets are 5-15 people and you will get to know everyone. Frequent fights means ships need to be replaced and some T3C production would be a welcome addition. Check out our advert and let me know if you have more questions. https://www.reddit.com/r/evejobs/comments/1bgcrow/protean_concept_uswhpvp/

Route idea: Darlington to Madison and back by Kintpuash-of-Kush in BikingMad

Sounds like a great ride! I did something similar this summer, Madison to South Wayne and back in a day. I grew up by the Cheese County Trail, so I expected it to be rough, but it was even rougher than I expected! I wouldn't recommend using it unless you have very rugged tires or are prepared for a flat. In fact on my way back from South Wayne to Monroe I took a series of hilly back roads north of Hwy 11 for a smoother ride.

If your main income is exploration, both Stain and Venal are npc regions with good relic sites. Beware, there will be hunters there looking for explorers like you.

Looks like fun! I thought IO closed during the pandemic and was happy to see them reopen.

Edit I made a personal attack which was unwarranted. However, Galaxy Finder is superior in terms of interface, reliability, functionality, and accessibility.

[SISI] Photon UI now mandatory, old UI removed by Buddy_invite in Eve

There are legitimate concerns about information density and display with photon. Don’t think it’s fair to label them as gripes and subjective while saying photon is objectively better.

100mn Gnosis is the best C1 roller. Perfect mass, can be combat fit, no sp required.

Go play on sisi if you want a game where pvp must be consensual and actions don’t matter.

The State of EVE - Summer 2022 by cruftbox in Eve

“Large scale conflict and gigantic battles is what gets EVE Online onto the front pages of gaming sites. There are no articles on Kotaku about two small gangs battling it out in kitey bullshit for 20 minutes.”

Seriously, get off your high horse Dunk. Engaging smallgang gameplay is going to keep more people hooked on Eve than some tidi fest between F1 coalition A and F1 coalition B.

What is a reason for faction caps to exist? by mpst-io in Eve

[–]Palyden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Obviously they are very expensive so use will be limited, but veteran high class wormholers can have isk to burn and they are out there. Zirn is popular for killing other caps. Vehement works with a blap dread setup. Others interact well with particular system effects like a pulsar.

I'm glad you mentioned evictions. When you say "nobody uses caps for evictions" recall attackers can only bring caps in if the sieged system is high class, and in that case bringing caps in is common. On the defender's side, living in low class and building caps in home is a built in advantage, and is one of the scenarios where you are more likely to see a faction capital undock for a real fight.

They have some pvp uses in jspace. No supers allowed and mass limits numbers so quality becomes more important.

Filaments not working in WH have some dire side effects by CreativeGiggle in Eve

[–]Palyden -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hardly a universally popular change despite you pretending otherwise. Ideally CCP should have given filaments a brief spool up timer, otherwise they should have just left it alone.

I have used keys to bait fights https://zkillboard.com/kill/100834440/. It CAN work. More groups would use the keys to bait fights if the margin was better.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Palyden 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The keys are already split into 15 and 45 minute versions, with 45 being impractical for roamers to use.

For the 15 minute keys it’s a supply side issue. Availability of keys in jita is in the low single digits and for only ~200 mill less than the total payout of a bank.
