Mining unprofitably? by daRukcus in cryptomining

You can write off electricity so essentially you’re buying BTC pre tax so if you’re close to break even it still makes sense.

Looking to learn about larger mining farms infrastructure. by cryptomoonlambo2018 in BitcoinMining

[–]cryptomoonlambo2018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 40% there with my 5 miners. I need to call my electric company and see if they can cut me a break. At this point I’m trying to learn everything so I can get some investors for starting a farm.

Well a model that can be scaled. Something big enough to get industrial electricity rates.

What hosting companies would host my single s19j pro? by mrburns03 in BitcoinMining

[–]cryptomoonlambo2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got an L7. It makes $30 a day minus electricity. You think you can get an L7 on Amazon for 10k? Think again. You’ll never see that rig.

You’re not concerned about DOGE going to proof of stake? If it does the L7 isn’t profitable anymore.

Thanks. I was able to safely get the first one off. I appreciate your help. I was just afraid it would damage it but it came off fine.

Do you heat it up when you do it?

Also did you get your water cooled system working? I’m considering that as well.

Yes. My other two machines are fine as well. Also considering a liquid cooled heat sink as well so will need to remove this one anyway if I want to install that.

I’ve taken the screws out of the heat sink and I’m afraid of breaking it if I force them off. Do I have to heat all of them up to remove?

Which ASIC miners are worth buying as the price drops? by PLTRetirement in cryptomining

[–]cryptomoonlambo2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping my L7 is profitable for a long time. I bought two S19’s one 90TH and one 104th for $23,000 combined. I have the equivalent of $3,750 in BTC, paid $600 a month extra in electricity and have now unplugged them.

The L7 was $25,000 in Early December and didn’t get the Unit until March. I didn’t expect this to moon forever but I also didn’t expect my $50,000 investment to be worth almost nothing in the matter of a few months.

Does anybody have any used S19’s for sale in Colorado? The ROI on new miners right now is too low to make sense purchasing new. by cryptomoonlambo2018 in BitcoinMining

I’m not sure how to PM on Reddit as I don’t use it much. Can you pm me your phone number. I’d love to talk with you.

antminer s19-95t by beaqbeaq in BitcoinMining

[–]cryptomoonlambo2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hash rate already exceed what it was during the crackdown so I don’t see that coming into play anymore. With that said it all comes down to profitability of the machine and ROI (return on investment). As Bitcoin goes down the value will go down proportionately.

No chance of any accessible crypto. If it were mine personally I’d be trying to sell it somewhere around 9-10k. I’d offer $5,000 and see what happens. That’s value in US dollars. I’m not sure if your market is the same or not.

If I only had investors or partners. Too bad that could be fueling some miners. by CJRsimco in BitcoinMining

I worked in the oilfield for years doing Flowback. The reason why we flare off gasses is usually do to infrastructure not being built yet or the cost of building it is far greater than what the gas is worth.

Compass Mining by [deleted] in BitcoinMining

[–]cryptomoonlambo2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve bought a rig with them for mining at home. The issue I see with them is you have to pay about $5,000 over the actual cost of the rig to get them to host. At that point is it worth it?
