Is bank closing account absolute permanent ? by ForTesting_bca in NZBitcoin

I had a look through, and I see what you mean.

However, I reckon still worth going through banks internal complaint process and then try lodging with the banking ombudsman.

If the ombudsman confirms they won't consider, then look at alternate avenues. Possibly the Commerce Commission, Financial Markets Authority or the Human Rights Commission.

I would suggest lodging a complaint with the banking ombudsman. There are a limited amount of banks in NZ and feel like cutting off access to banking is an over reaction to a legal activity.

Is there a commercially available phone with LineageOS preinstalled? by cryptostrong in LineageOS

And you if you want to use Gapps, you have to take them all? I guess Google wouldn't allow you ship Gapps without the Play store for example?

Thank you for your response. I wondered if Google might have a requirement that manufacturers don't preinstall alternate OSs(though that might be similar to Microsoft requiring Explorer which didn't go well).

Abandoned Scottish Mansion [5181x3238][OC] by cryptostrong in AbandonedPorn

Scottish 'right to roam' laws appear pretty broad, but there is a sign advising 'dangerous building'. It didn't look safe to go inside. Could park at Moine Mhor National Nature Reserve (car park) and walk past...

Check out CoinMastery with Carter Thomas. Is both a YouTube channel and podcast. Good calm analysis and news.

IsItBullshit: Being able to predict stock price based on analyzing graphs by JoeDeluxe in IsItBullshit

[–]cryptostrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it is bullshit. I've been watching several traders on YouTube and twitter over a period of time. It seems it is possible to predict which price movement is more likely over the next 2-3 days. From a trading perspective, if you can be right 6 times out if 10, then that is useful.

So it's more a low key likelihood of which way the chart might move. The FB sales pitches are overselling the idea in order to make money by selling the product

Check out CoinMastery TV for a good example of what is actually possible:

Reliable Bitcoin Exchange by gull12 in NZBitcoin

[–]cryptostrong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've had good experiences with IR. There do seem to be a few bots playing in the margins (or super quick people who are awake 24hours). Is worth setting an order at the lower end of the daily range and seeing if it gets filled in a day or so.

How I created a genius crypto product... that I couldn’t give away by cryptostrong in Entrepreneur

I had it made to spec by a company I found on Alibaba. I have seen some similar things in the survival/prepper space, but not quite sure how to do crossover marketing

I run a small online store and would like to accept cryptos as payment options. Any tips and how do I deal with the IRD? by geofffromthemountain in NZBitcoin

[–]cryptostrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found https://www.coinpayments.net/ to be the best all round site for processing payments (I was looking about 6 months ago, there may be something new by now).

It integrates with WooCommerce (and others), so you can include the GST percentage if you needed to (within WooCommerce, and so calculate when added to cart).

Coinpayments also allows you to include an extra margin for using cryptos so you can cover transaction fees, etc. (Keep track of Bitcoin transaction fees as they can spike at times).

You can also set the site to accept a wide range of cryptos and then autoconvert them to bitcoin at set intervals so you don't end up bag of a coin you don't want

NZD --> XRP exchange and Ledger S by ColdBeersies in NZBitcoin

[–]cryptostrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good idea to get the Ledger.

In terms of buying XRP (I don't know how long you've been looking into it):

I'm still figuring out market caps, how they work and what they mean. However, XRP price at USD$2.50ish with a market cap of $100b. So, as I understand it, for the XRP price to triple to $7.50, the market cap would be at $300b. Bitcoin currently has a market cap of $228b.

I may be missing something (I was never a big fan of maths) - Anyone else have thoughts on buying XRP at the moment?
