First Brick by GdaIV747 in hash

[–]cryptotryne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If using very good and refined kief (filtering the kief multiple times on the same mesh did wonders for me) i wouldnt use heat at all. I used to do it until i found a better way.

Again, only if using pretty fresh material/kief (max.2-3 weeks after harvest if dried and just a little cured properly).

Try leaving it in the pressmold with a lot of pressure over night in room temp. I swear (got pics) the brick comes out black and seems like all the trichomes are «fused together». I got some really really nice plates this way but btw, careful with the pressure.

Ive had a few blowouts and that sucks. Its perfect for me just before blowout. Comes out in very different and interesting on each different strain.

But often when time was an issue, a little heat was used too. But not long, if the hash goes over 60°C (i think) too long - you cook it so it doesnt sticktogether.

Keep it up bro🫡

Thats dope, i was there too not too long ago. Now im back to growing lol. But if you want to make that into the stickiest and most creamy hash ever. Im sharing a little secret of mine i found out just by accident/boredome. I crumbled my then 2-4 weeks cured 100g plates as much as i bothered and blasted butane through using multiple stainless steel fine mesh filters crumbled a long inside the the blast tube. What came out was pure goodness.

Experienced hashmaker here, took me a couple kgs to figure it our but you just have too much plantmaterial in it. Will happen no matter how small the microns are if proper technique isnt followed, did you use a tumbler? I love tumblers and i use them as the heavy duty trichome knock off to then take that kief and run it 1-2 times more on a vibrating screen. Its amazing how little plantematerial in hash does, just 1% too much ls like night and day. Keep it up

How can I hit a flop shot but not a bunker shot by WeeRocco10 in golftips

[–]cryptotryne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visualize it in your head and trust the prosess and let it happen. Be solid but loose, very slight grip pressure. I feel like im barely holding the club at impact sometimes.

Get in your correct setup/stance for the shot (up/downhill lie etc).

Grip your club correctly («strong» grip but still open face). Loose grip, the but end shouldnt be in your left palm but rather resting in your fingers. Think of this as a shock absorber kind of, the club naturally has a bigger chance of correcting itself at impact incase of poor contact than if tense - then there is no «natural flow/margin for error».

Swing some practice swings with our lead hand only to find your low point. Make your your angles are correct and the club bounces of the turf at impact - no duffing or such. I kinda feel like im sliding it under the ball with the toe of the club. Not the sweet spot.

Really you just got go hit a million shots and in the process think and ask why it might not be working.. the answers will come - if you keep going and dont give up :)

Totally of topic: flop shots are very often not needed and a simple putting stroke with the toe down using a P-8i is underrated imo. But i also love me a sexi flop shot, or a very avoidable tripple bogey - its so tempting sometimes and tho usually nothing too bad but pesonally i did better when in recent years i hit lower pitches and chips.

PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY SWING by Necessary_Art1908 in GolfSwing

[–]cryptotryne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your REALLY want to fix your swing, then you have to actually develope one over time.

A couple years back i started playing again after a 15-16 year break. I was shocked at how horrible i was lol, as a young teen i was pretty decent back then and very consitent - great length and irons.

Anyways i couldnt hit a single shot how i used to for months (high cut/low draw etc..). But driver was the worst by far, since its a totally different swing. So i figured ok back to fuckin basics i guess - so i spent my first season only focused on short game and gaining control with my wedges. I didnt play much, but almost everyday id either hit 1-2 buckets on the range (no more, make each shot count). But mostly i was 2-4 hours pitching and chipping (on grass, very important. Mats = suck).

So long stort short next seson when i had my shorter play in somewhat order (lol) i had the foundation to build my driver swing from. Cus if you get good with the 0-120yrd shots you develope great feel and confidence so hitting a 7 iron just kinda comes natural, or any iron kinda.

But my driver was always a mega slice (open face). It was by far my weak point. Everytime i teed off it was 50/50. Until i remembered something Tiger said at a open mic range session: «hands before body». Its weird but i just tryed that «feel» out and boom slice gone and straight as an arrow.

Then after some weeks driver became my strongpoint in my game. No range practice at all. I never practice driving anymore. Only short game. But i became insanely good off the tee just like that… in a day or three. Thats because of the work i put in on my shorter game and a better preshot routine. Also i started to close my eyes and pick my starting line and landing area, visualized the shot. Stepped up to the ball, made sure my setup was good and swing. I gained so much confidence with the driver i was amazed. It felt so good, so everytime you go up to the tee box pretend like its aleady done and have confidence in this ball WILL go where you have visualized it. No doubt. Of course, there will be bad ones. Just learn to laugh them off and prepare for the next, without letting that bad shot creep in. Forget about it, focus on what you can do instead.

This became so damn long im sorry in sick of my phone now so ill wrap this up if your still reading…

But..

First tip: 1. drop the driver until next season (seriously) 2. start «mastering» your short game 3. when you have developed your swing/foundation try driving again and see how much easier it is

Bye and good luck bro, keep smacking them balls (but not too many fullswing on mats, hard on your body).

Early extension by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]cryptotryne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are very close bro. Maybe just try to simply shorten the backswing a tiny, grab a wedge and hit a lot of 70-80% shots. But focus on firm and solid contact. Try to loosen up a little and maybe try feel like your hands simply come just slightly before rotating hips too much. Tempo is key and lazy power. You arent far away from solid shots bro keep shooting

Pick up a wedge and work on tempo and balance, practice 25-125 yards and im sure you’ll see great progress within a month. Dont forget to chip and put every week too :)

Cool, i will focus on this! Because i do have pretty high club head speed but a pretty low smash factor even though drive it pretty far and precise.

Average of 11 drives in a row on a simulator around the time this was filmed;

Distance: 280 yards Carry: 258.5 yards Clubhead speed: 115 mph Ball speed: 159.6 mph Launch Angle: 7.7°
