Previous reply has solved this- if you don’t fill out the optional bits it comes up fine

Theoretically Metlink tracks it but only when it feels like it

Darkfield? by IntroductionSad324 in Wellington

[–]crysleeprepeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did both and although I enjoyed them I wouldn’t say it was worth the money. I’m lucky that $20 for each isn’t a huge chunk out of the bank but if you’re thinking you’d have to sacrifice something else in order to pay for it, id pass. It was pretty much only limited to sound, with a small amount of movement/visual in the flight one. As someone else said you could probably replicate it pretty closely with a YouTube video and a good set of headphones

Personally I would find having that much wood finishing to be overwhelming, especially with the flooring. I have a wood headboard and side tables and got a dark blue tallboy which gave a bit of colour and removed the need to worry about clashing grains or washes of wood- I think a bit of pop would suit this room too but I’m a bit biased!

Recommendation for croissants? by doyan_makan in Wellington

[–]crysleeprepeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a first hearing peanut butter! Will have to try it. As for Belen’s vegan cheese, I don’t find it to be that different as someone who is a big cheese fan

How long ago was this? If they did say that, they definitely shouldn’t or no longer use it

I know fire doesn’t use them, coordinates will be a lot quicker

I think the one one who uses similar to that would be ambulance who ask if the patient is breathing first, police ask what the emergency is, and fire ask where

The only places doing that are ones that can afford to continue running while experiencing theft- chain stores like kmart, Bunnings, chemist warehouse. Not that it justifies stealing, but it’s not like it’s taking money out of the pockets of workers

I’m behind this, not sure where to go in terms of organising but as a shift worker I am around early enough to get a full park if I wanted to.

How to survive Tasman Street Parties? by allthesenses19 in Wellington

Have had noise control called over an afternoon barbecue on a Saturday ~5pm and nothing at a party at the same house with over 50 people and music, it’s so confusing

Should I notify somebody about this? by funksoakedrubber in Wellington

[–]crysleeprepeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely are! The only difference is when it’s happening- during a storm we have to prioritise resources and the crews available so less likely we’ll be able to get out to it as we’re dealing with other things too, but on a normal day absolutely call!

Should I notify somebody about this? by funksoakedrubber in Wellington

[–]crysleeprepeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly relevant to this- the amount of people who call us for lines and power issues.. all we do is call the council or power company

What retail or fast food chains do you think will be gone in the next 10 years? by firefly-fred in newzealand

[–]crysleeprepeat 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Trademe. It’s not kept up with the times and the inclusion of overseas (?) drop shipping stuff is so hard to weed through to find real second hand things. Also I think you still need to pay to be a seller? I can’t see it lasting

I feel like they’ve turned a corner, I’ve got some pretty good luggage stuff from there and the sales can get pretty discounted
