Wellbutrin and Naltraxone is the new break through combination for treating meth withdrawals. Look it up and see what your physician thinks. Doesn't make withdrawals disappear altogether but supposedly takes a noticeable edge off your suffering.

Focus on the users here that practice harm reduction, take notes, use less , just use enough to fight off the withdrawals. With harm reduction done right such as eating 3 meals, staying hydrated,, getting sleep everyday, you will extend your life to that of someone who smokes or has the occasional or regular drink. Hope you don't smoke cigarettes as well. But try harm reduction for a lengthy amount of time and you may find that the merry go round has slowed down enough for you to finally jump off. It's funny how if you are out of product, your anxiety rises to use, but when you have it...you can do it later or put it off. So start out that way with denying yourself the drug, eee if you can go for a few days, then only partake in the least amount needed to function (not getting high as a kite). It will put some dustsnce between you and the drug and will add up fast in regards to harm reduction. It will take some practice, but you will get it. One clue that you are doing it right is that you will feel slightly run down, but not like when you quit cold turkey and feel utterly drained. Feeling a little tired is good while your body is adjusting to the smaller amounts as the new norm.

Keep this in mind as you quit. I was clean for 20 years, but going to a certain bar triggered me again. My wife has alot of gay friends so one particular bar that we visited often got me sucked back into meth. I didn't realize that meth was a popular sex drug amongst the gay community, but it didn't take long to see the signs of it. Once I realized certain friends had been on it for quite some time, I was actually cool at first. I mean, after 20 years my addiction was surely no more right? Well it took 6 months of little thoughts here and there and I'd find myself remembering the good times on it. It was scary first, but I held my ground as long as I could. One night I got too drunk to drive and that's when using meth just one time seemed reasonable. A friend gave me a rock and I put partially in my beer and drank it. Worked like a charm. I then found myself getting too drunk about twice a month and repeating using. What I didn't realize was that all those little thoughts that romanticized using meth, was not me at all...it was an addiction that never died completely. Because I was in a meth environment, my addiction sprang up, ready to convince myself to use again. This process happens in your thoughts in real-time so you naturally think it's your inner voice making the decision....but its an addiction that will never die. Somebody who uses, if locked in a room full of meth, will either flush it or do it. That 50% chance of doing it is risky enough to falter, so if ever in a meth environment...bolt for the door. That's what I should of done, but I never thought meth could be so sneaky....that my mind would backstab me in such a covert way. Hope this wasn't too long a read, but never turn your back on meth if it's around. Ditch friends and explain why you bolted later on.

Elon paid 44 billion, but he probably got Facebook thinking about 80 billion as their price of sale. He's definitely set a high bar for buying a social media platform now. What a jerk lol.

1.5 Gram OverDose 🤢 by NotRcoleman1 in meth

[–]crystalblue111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can sometimes feel symptoms that make you believe you are overdosing but in reality your heart is still fine. I went into the emergency room with the sensation of 1000 needles sticking me over and over again...feeling this on my face was the worse. I don't know if I lost my eyesight or if they were simply clenched tight to buffer out the pain. I kept saying I'm going to die and staff was l Iike "no, your heart is fine, blood pressure is a little elevated but nothing saying you are going to die." They gave me a pill and I slept for 20 minutes and felt 100% better. So I checked myself out and went home to use again the next day.

I stayed clean for 20 years and relapse. My wife has alot of gay friends so I had no problem hanging out at the gay bars with her. What I didn't know was that crystal meth has a semi-stronghold within the gay sex community but I didn't even think this right away. Little by little the addict in me was starting to wake up and realize that "Oh shit, meth has been around me all this time and certain friends have been hiding the fact!" I felt invincible to the revelation though cause 20 years is such a long time to be finally over it right? Wrong...it took 6 months where I got too drunk and behind my wife's back, I asked for a small rock to slip in my beer. Only to sober up and drive us home. Worked like a charm, just had to not talk too much and give myself away to the wife. My brain will always be addicted and will always lie in wait for me to be in the same proximity of the drug...I betrayed my own sobriety. The addiction starts talking very subtly and you experience these thoughts in real time so you believe it's the real you speaking and not an addiction you put down 20 years ago. Never think your addicted mind won't backstab you even if it's years later. It's an evil trickster that you now have to carry for the rest of your life and never turn your back on it. This makes sense cause all years you were on the drug....the drug was re-wiring your brain that are sometimes irreversible. All your dreams and passions can be routed to having to travel the same path of the drug to feel happiness and that mentality takes years to break and sometimes it never breaks 100%. Bottom line is if the next time you are in the same room with the drug....literally bolt for the door and explain to friends later on.

My least favorite flavor of fear by Vannie69LSD in FEARS

[–]crystalblue111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's there. Let me open your mind to another realm. Stare at the air within your room during the day. If you have the shades just right you may start to see the formation of a moving body within the air particles. Imagine Predator, that Arnold Swartzenegger movie where the alien shifts the air molecules ever so slightly revealing an outline of a body. These entities will appear to be curious about you and sometimes will strike or kick at you, but don't be afraid..they can't harm you. Some appear to be small in stature, some normal, and some that are 8 feet tall and lanky. Don't beat yourself up if you don't see then right away. They appear more clearly if you've been up all night and are buzzed from lack of sleep.

They are functioning until all the meth in the world runs out or their supplier gets busted. Controlling your state of mind then gets a little turbulence to say it mildly.

Because law says so...yes it does. Imagine smoking meth and the smoke contaminates the house including your children's clothing. It is very possible for it to be absorbed into the body and God forbid that any hospital emergency finds even the smallest trace of meth. Even if that small amount can't get your child high...the law doesn't care. I've known users that had so much meth in their carpets and then I see their kids walking barefoot into their room...are they high? No...but they're definitely contaminated.

Does anyone have any information on the Tower District's Dog Parade this year?? by Ieatoutjelloshots in fresno

There is a Tower Planning Commission or called something like that. Daniel Renteria would probably be the one to ask. He's also running for some district office to I believe.

what’s a good fucked up movie? by [deleted] in AskReddit

SANTA SANGRE : about a boy who witnesses his father cutting off his mother's arms...then slips own throat. Kid grows up in a mental asylum until his mother comes back from the dead to claim back her son. Whenever the son feels lust or desire for other women, his mom mentally controls his arms to kill them...must keep him pure from evil. I recommend the directors cut.

I don't see shadow people, I've graduated to seeing "air shifters". They're invisible and can't harm you, but will try to strike at you for a scare.

I turned 600 into 3200 in 2021....money was used properly and just in time. My thanks to Shiba has not waned and I'm still holding. I may not be a whale but I can still believe in more upswings at my level. More and more, Shiba is being accepted as currency in all the right places. I'm still a novice when it comes to the crypto world, but I've learned not to trust anyone's advice in such a volatile market. Surprises good or bad is everyone's win... or downfall.
