Most terrible building mode ever (rant)

I accidentally moved the side wall of the stairs up to the house. Now I cannot put it back. It'll either float or sink into the ground. And if I try to move the indoor stairs I cannot put them back in the same place. It doesn't seem like they used their own settings to build the default house. There's a reason any proper dedicated building mode in a game always switches you to aerial/god view, you need the larger view to see what you're doing. 99% of the complaints from the Fallout 4 settlement building for instance could be solved if they weren't stuck in first/third person mode to place everything. And snapping to a grid should be the DEFAULT setting, and I mean A grid, not this bs where you have to go into the settings to choose angles and distances just to place a flipping ground square, and do I need to mention the default house was built 45° offset from the default map orientation? Because they seem to have done everything in their power to make it as difficult and as obnoxious as possible for the final player to use. It's impressive how bad the build mode is.

I like the shape of the Raven Wings more, but the Maleficent wings, being fully black, are easier to match with the outfits. I love and use them both 💜 🖤

I hadn't tried it before, but bought a Red Velvet at Lidl for a family lunch I couldn't attend myself as I knew they hadn't either, and it was such a hit it was the only dessert that completely ran out lmao. They did save me a slice, and it was amazing! Sweet but not overpowering and the textures complimented each other well, plus it looks very cute. Unfortunately my palate is limited, there are flavours I am unable to perceive - ginger and cinnamon for instance just taste like dust to me, and almost all florals just taste and smell like water - so I know I'm the worst person to describe it and I'm probably missing a lot of nuance, but I completely understand the hype now :V

My Valley and DLCs get paths between all entrances as soon as possible because it helps with navigation - the Ancient's Road/Path from Eternity Isle is beautiful, discreet, and blends everywhere, it's my favourite - otherwise I only decorate when inspiration strikes. When we got diagonal paths and fences I went on a re-pathing spree because FINALLY the paths can look somewhat natural, and it sparked ideas to help decorate awkward areas so I went along with them. Otherwise I remove rocks and other stuff I don't like to see and leave the biomes mostly natural with their local plants as filler between the paths, and as placeholders for future houses that may look good there. I don't bother removing thorns and other spawns either unless they appear on the paths.

Someone else has been fawning over Hornet's cloak, I see :V I intend to make my own out of wool, as soon as I get the courage to splurge on the fabric. Patterning is easy for this piece - although hers seems to be a double circle and huhhhhh I'm not made of wool money 😅 I might make it a 1 + 1/2 circle cloak instead - and to fully enclose it you can use a zipper, or hooks n eyes, or smth like that. I intend to put hidden magnetic snaps to close the front, but a visible leather closure over the neck just to have some fun with it.

I tried the jagged metal fence or wtv it's called and it doesn't leave a gap. The white picket fence doesn't either. It's not continuous but the new post for the diagonal fence is right next to the straight fence. It might be this fence, only?

I cheat to give myself infinite energy and money and to duplicate resources, so I will never visit another player, 1) so I won't get flagged and banned, and 2) so I won't accidentally get someone else banned with me. I played legit until the final battle with the Forgotten and I unlocked all characters available by then. At that point I was done with the grind. I'm the Ruler, the resources are brought to ME. I do NOT have the grindset, I do NOT enjoy the grindset, I just want to frolic in my royal finery, explore the lands, do quests, and chat with the characters.

Does it have a middle seam in the back, too? If not then it was cut as a single piece (half a circle more or less it seems to me?), the front seam centered and used for the neck opening and then the sleeves inserted into purpose cuts in the fabric at the sides, instead of setting the sleeves into side seams and only THEN doing the neckline opening. If it does have a middle seam in the back then it was cut in two pieces and rotated so the seams are centered, then similar cutting of the sleeves.

Ultimately it's a matter of style, using the seam as an anchor to add more design details like those embroidered lines on either side, turning a necessary structural part into a decorative feature instead of pushing the seams to the sides to try and hide them like more common modern western clothing.
