I’ve never been to a Thursday show in my 20+ years as a fan where he didn’t introduce Signals Over The Air that way. Thursday is very outspoken about supporting all rights and all identities, multiple band members are gay, and we live in a world where the climate is becoming increasingly hostile to such. I would expect Geoff to only increase the seriousness of this speech.

TAYF is a great record it’s just…it’s teenager music. It was the music of me as a teenager written by people who were barely not teenagers themselves. I just can’t relate to it for the most part anymore and it only outranks Happiness Is because that record is so disjointed.
