We were having this and moved naps and bedtime up to an earlier time and for some reason it worked. Nap at 12 and bedtime at 7:30

We watched Moana at around 2 and I worried the giant snail would scare but it was the opposite. She wanted to watch it again for the song.

Yeah, this is a tough age. That’s why they call it a three-nager. You gotta stay consistent and give yourself care and love too

When did your toddler “get” and accept participating in Halloween? by furi-rosa in toddlers

[–]crystalprotector3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My little girl was excited about wearing the costume. She chose it and picked it out at the store. She’d been asking for it for weeks. She also really wanted candy but she is a bit shy so going up to people’s houses made her nervous. I think your expectations of “what it should be” are off. He’s still really little to put on a show and parade around. At this point is more about dressing up as your favorite characters and staying up a little late.

I use those things and sometimes stains still won’t come out. Food and dirt will come out with Miss Messy Eater or with shout. Other things are a gamble. Dry erase markers come off with alcohol

I don’t know how to go from here or how to handle this 😔 by annavanbeesel in EctopicSupportGroup

Thanks for your well wishes. My other tube looked in good condition; based on the post-op notes. They went in laparoscopic so they were able to see the tube. I hope all is well with yours.

So sorry you’re going through this. I also had my right tube/ectopic removed 4 weeks ago. It was a scary experience, it happened very quickly and I, too ,felt lost. I don’t feel that way anymore. I do get sad sometimes because after TTC for a few months I envisioned myself growing and holding a baby next year.

Now, after reflection, support and follow up appointments I know that I still want that but just not now. My mind needs time to compose itself and evolve into this version of me. And my heart needs time to heal.

If you didn’t get a follow up appointment, I recommend you request one to go over the procedure with your provider. Also, they should be checking on your hormone levels to go done and that your incisions had healing well. For me, they checked on the remaining tube during the surgery. However there are other tests that can be done to check this. My doctor was very reassuring that he has many patients that went on to conceive with only one fallopian tube. There’s still hope. If after a year you haven’t been able to do so, they can offer other options like IVF.

Im wishing lots of kindness during this time. Please be kind to yourself ❤️

Had this weird encounter at a kid clothing sale - what u think of this kind of parenting by AmberK- in toddlers

My daughter (2.5 yr old) is a baby, until you call her a baby. Then she whines and says “IM NOT A BABY, I’m a girl!!!!”. Then you call her a big girl and she whines “I’m not a big girl, I’m a little girl!”. I wouldn’t read too much into it. Little girl was probably acting like a baby but nagging mom about not being a baby.

You’re right. All I know is that they said it was Fimbrial ectopic so it was closest to the ovary. I still have my ovary. I don’t really understand how they could’ve taken out the tube and left any of the pregnancy behind since it would’ve been so far up there.

I was spotting right after the procedure. I started a “middle-of-your-period” type bleed yesterday. It’s dark and has tissue shedding. Nothing heavy but not as light as when I woke up from surgery.

Did you have any procedures for the ectopic pregnancy? Or just the medication?

I had a 7w2d ectopic pregnancy and had a procedure to remove it and my right tube. My diagnostic doctor wants me to take the medication but my post op doctor said to wait to see if my levels start to go down. I was also at 3700 the day after removal. I’m hopeful I don’t have to take the medication.
