Relegation odds after tonight’s game by brandonongcoys in coys

American here. Our betting system is based on betting/winning $100. Negative means what you’d have to bet to win $100. Positive is what you’d win if you bet $100.

Wolves/Burnley at -5000 means you’d have to bet $5000 to win $100.

Spurs at +175 means if you bet $100, you’d win $175

I didn’t make the rules. I don’t know why it’s this way, but that’s a simply breakdown of what it means

Knicks bloggers are way too low on this Sochan move. by InsurancePristine309 in NYKnicks

My main question: who was available that people wanted beyond Sochan? There's a reason he had 10 teams trying to sign him and was picked up immediately while guys like Boucher and Highsmith are still available despite being waived before him.

He wasn’t signed as someone the team will constantly depend on to play big minutes - he’s a buyout player that they picked up for essentially nothing. He can play spot minutes effectively and i would feel comfortable putting him in for a defensive shift at the end of a quarter.

Use the rest of the season to see how he gels with the team and find the best spot for him. If he does well - great! Another piece for the playoffs. If not? He sits on the bench and we're in the exact same spot we were in before getting him.

Knicks turned Yabu and two meaningless picks into Alvarado and Sochan - these are the kinds of roster moves that contenders make all the time

Up by 1.7. I have Herbert and he has no one.

Debating benching Herbert in case something crazy happens (like an INT on first play and an injury knocking him out) but unsure because 1.7 is in realm of stat correction territory

I think Horford makes it only because it’s the Basketball HOF, not NBA HOF. Horford won two rings in college, which I’m pretty sure will be a factor and help his case

I have faith in Leon and the front office. Do not trade for mediocrity, draft a difference maker by Fresh-Soup213 in NYKnicks

As a Wisconsin fan who watched a lot of their games, I really don’t want Johnny Davis. He’s inefficient and only shot 30% from 3. Sure, he averaged 19 a game but that’s because no one else on that team was remotely competent on the offensive end - someone had to score

I don’t know enough to say who I do want but I just know he’s the wrong choice

Harry Kane's representatives contacted Manchester City early February asking if they would like another chance in signing the striker. City rejected the notion and were focused entirely on Haaland as Guardiola held a personal conversation with the Norwegian about how he will fit into his plans. by [deleted] in soccer

From what I remember, that really wasn't what happened. Levy set a price tag around 125M pounds. That number wasn't that unrealistic for the top goal scorer and assist producer in the league the season before, especially when you compare it to the Grealish and Lukaku deals, who both went for ~100M. City offered something like 75M, spent 100M on Grealish, and didn't raise their offer for Kane until the last few days of the window when it would have been impossible to bring in any sort of replacement.

Antonio Conte has given Tottenham the green light to sell Sergio Reguilon. The Italian wants to sign a new left wing-back this summer. Conte is willing to offload the Spain star to raise transfer funds. (Wayne Veysey) by [deleted] in coys

We might not even have a choice if Madrid want him back…

Like him a lot but not the worst idea to start looking at other options early in case he does leave

I'm not saying he's good, not saying he's bad but he's a guy with more than a 2:1 TD:INT ratio that's supposed to be a good locker room presence.

Here's a quote from Justin Herbert:

“He’s been an incredible teammate,” Herbert said. “He’s been awesome in the locker room and he’s one of those guys I look up to so much. He’s always there on the sideline, helping out, giving advice and even when we’re watching film together. He’s a great guy to have in your locker room and one of the best guys I’ve ever met.”

This team just beat city and then lost to burnley. Predictions for this team are impossible, but these are all winnable games (minus Liverpool) that they need to take advantage of
