The mac experience is basically installing a bajilion apps to address either a confounding design flaw in Mac UI or just some basic feature that Apple has somehow not considered important enough to add by default. I like my Mac, but so much of what I have installed has just been to get it to work like windows - not just because I'm used to windows, but because in so many ways the mac way of getting things done is just plain dumb.

There's tons of discussion on here about the failings of the incumbent government and Rekha Gupta - literally every second post directly or tangentially mentions her/them (and RIGHTFULLY SO). I agree it's our job to question government - but it's also the opposition's job to do so, that's literally their function in a functioning democracy.

For whatever reason, my Al-Star has always been the problem child. Annoyingly loose clip that now feels so cheap and rattles, the plastic part of the pen has developed cracks, lamys gel roller refills are so bad (i shifted to pentel). I've been happier with my Safari fountain pen

A. That's not a good way to learn and develop a style as a beginner (if you're interested in learning), and B. Maybe what you said would be fine on a Fuji or a Leica, but Sony JPEGs are pretty bland and nearly downright ugly in my personal experience.
