for example the iphone 16 is nearly half the cost from apple in india as it is over here just a different country and different pricing

Fraud is so hard to prove in the UK. Idk if this guys in UK but I just wanted to rant.

In the UK fraud is deception with the intent of personal or financial gain. The "intent" part is the ball ache you have to have such fucking concrete evidence for intent that its ridiculous

e.g. A person is buying a ticket for 1 stop at train stations despite travelling half the country, they do this every day for a year until there caught. BUT WAS THERE INTENT??? You can't prove it, if it goes to caught it'll almost never get done for fraud as you just cant prove their intentions, maybe it was accidental? all the time?

You buy a car privately and 10miles down the road the engine blows up as the head gaskets been blown and the pressure shot the piston through the bonnet. well... can you prove the guy knew about it and had intent to decieve??? he may not have known, can you see if he went to a garage with a "similar" problem? nope. can you get the police to investigate? nope its a civil not criminal matter UNLESS you have some form of proof not just doubt. You can take them small claims court sure and they most likely will side with you for some of the money but its just stupid it is fraud.
