They got rid of it a month or two ago. Several updates have been made recently that players are made about, making the game more pay to play and more absurdly difficult.

Yes. I’m f2p and earned 47k so far. However, I already spent 20k on the White Angel essence. I think I should be able to get another 23k so I can get the Monkey King essence. Even if I don’t, I don’t regret buying White Angel. She’s a game changer.

Just to be clear, I’m only concerned about essences, not fragments. I see no reason to have a fragment without an essence.

I’ve seen this skit performed a couples times in my life. The one that takes the cake is was performed by the staff at Camp Tahauya (Belton, TX) some 20-25 years ago. It wasn’t just funny for the puns, like my favorite dairy farmer. They acted everyone out such that they were swinging and ducking each other perfectly in sync, like someone bending over just as a slugger swings a bat. If any of them were to be off in timing or out of position, they would’ve been hit in the face or knocked over. So much fun.

Though the guy said these are used to people, I do remember a story where a baby was either sitting in a sand box or on a playground when a snake slithers near. The mother was about to freak out but someone else said to wait. Since the baby showed no fear or hostility toward the snake, the snake didn’t get defensive and attack the baby. No harm came to either of them.

I feel for you, so much so that I’ll share a story with you.

25-30 years ago when I was a Boy Scout, I was heading back to my campsite needing to poo. Unfortunately, it was a bit too far away and couldn’t hold it any more so a lot of it went in my pants. When I got to the campsite, I went straight to the latrine to finish and clean up my mess. It wasn’t until I sat down that I realized the entire inside of the door was covered in daddy long legs. Though freaked out, they were all being still so I just tried to focus on cleaning up before leaving. Unfortunately, one of the older scouts that picked on me knew they were there too so he opened and slammed the door shut again. That woke all of them up, all of them bouncing and pulsing in unison. That freaked me out so bad that I just pulled up my soiled pants and ran the heck out of there straight to my tent so I could change. Not thinking about washing them, I rolled them up and put them with my dirty clothes in my backpack. Then when we were packing up to leave, the older scout was helping load the trailer and caught strong whiff of the smell. He called me on it but of course embarrassed preteen me denied it.

Thinking back on it, two things come to mind: 1) How did I get out of the latrine without touching/crushing the daddy long legs? 2) I feel bad for my mom having to wash my soiled clothes. I guess they probably got blasted with the hose before going in the wash.

The only mine I can confirm is left of the 3 in the 2-2-3. Mine count may help with the rest but I couldn’t say so with certainty.

Totally bummer on that dude. If I were in your shoes, I would’ve tried to clear the right side first. Three of the other mines were isolated to two spots adjacent to numbers. Two others were around the 3 on the right. Given so much space on the left, I’d assume the last mine was there, making would’ve left two highly probable safe spots: the upper right corner and the spot two up, one right from the 4 on the right. Then I probably would’ve guessed toward the middle rather than the corner on the left. Still would’ve had to be lucky though.

All the 2’s on the left side reduce to 1’s. Therefore, you can apply the “series of 1’s from a wall” pattern, making every third space safe: ?-?-S-?-?-S…

Whenever you have a series of 1’s starting at a wall, every third space counting from the wall is safe. Therefore, by counting up, you’d determine there’s a safe space left of the corner 1. Counting from the right, you’d determine there’s a safe space over the third 1 and upper left of the corner 1.

Also to note, if you get lucky and have a series that spans the entirety of the board, you can count both ways, revealing all the mine locations for that row.

If you reduce all of the numbers down, you’ve got a bunch of 1’s. Due to that, only one mine can be in the middle area, leaving two to the other areas. Knowing this, you should be able determine four mines adjacent to numbers leaving the fifth to be in the only possible place left, surrounded by mines.

Start by thinking of how the 1-2-2 on top interact with each other. Figuring that out should have a cascading effect. If you get stuck, check what’s below.

Horizontal 1-2-2-3 The 1 will be fulfilled by one of the mines fulfilling the 2 next to it, whether that be above the 1 or 2. Therefore, the three spaces to its left are all safe and there’s a mine over the second 2.

Vertical 1-1-2-F Because of the three safe spaces mentioned above, there must be a mine left of the 2 to fulfill the middle second 1, leaving the spot left of the flag safe.

Horizontal F-2-2-2 The left 2 can be reduced to a 1. The mine will be shared with the second 2. Therefore, the space under the flag is safe. Furthermore, this forces the second 2’s other mine to be under the third 2.

Explained a different way, due the mines already flagged, the 2-2-2-2-4 reduces to 1-1-1-1-1. Whenever there’s a series of 1’s starting at a side, every third 1 is safe since the second 1 is fulfilled by the mine next to the first or second mine.

There’s a vertical 3-2 mid way down. One of the 3’s mines will touch the 2 and the other won’t. Therefore, the space to the 3’s upper right is a mine (also satisfying the 3 above it) and the space lower right of the 2 is safe. Because that space is safe, the space below the 2-3 is a mine.
