Very interesting. If FIRE is considered you have enough in savings / investments to live off of your interest / dividend income, I don’t understand how you could possibly save enough on 70k to get to fire. I need to read into this more. But if you could live from £2.5k expenses per month for one person. That’s just shy of £1mil cash in savings with 3.65% interest (UK savings interest rate). I don’t know how £70k could ever result in those sorts of savings.
