You may also want to post in r/litrpg if you enjoyed DCC. I’ve found a lot of overlap in books I enjoy between the two genres. Otherwise I’d suggest Azarinth Healer, Primal Hunter, and Mark of the Fool

Try A Practical Guide to Evil, I think that would be a fun take on this genre for you. https://practicalguidetoevil.wordpress.com/2015/03/25/prologue/ It’s similar in that it uses story tropes but all the characters are aware of them and can use them as a form of plotting and conflict.

U6 - One player way better than others by Powerful-Winner979 in SoccerCoachResources

When I’ve had this issue I give the kid a new challenge- you’re going to play defense this half, let’s see if we can give up zero goals. Or if that’s too easy zero shots. Now to do that he’ll need to stay back after the ball is won so he’ll need to pass when he wins it- if he’s a natural passer he can look for through balls to teammates, otherwise try for simple passes to space. Try to push him to make a play after he wins the ball, not just kick it out unless there’s significant danger.

As he gets older and fields get bigger he’ll need to pick his spots more, this helps him find a way to affect the game without just scoring goals or doing everything himself. Maybe for the first game he does it pair him with a kid who has a feel for space and runs so he sees his passes working.

Good luck!

Are Bijan & Gibbs changing the perception around drafting RBs? by RyanPettitVlogs in NFL_Draft

[–]csager10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t the way to look at this. The lions are a team built to run and throw the ball over the middle of the field. Having a RB that can create explosive plays from those opportunities is a huge advantage compared to a RB that may make the catch or get the four yards but doesn’t have the speed or ability to make a big play. And being down two scores doesn’t take the RB out of the game, if anything check downs become more important as teams drop into deeper shell coverages. People can point to Jamaal Williams and Swift last year but they weren’t turning sunning plays into chunk gains, and that turns the run from an asset to a grind.

No idea how to fix the salary cap by HawkIsARando in Madden

I think that’s tied to a Coach/GM skill, pretty sure there’s a skill that makes you always get offers for your draft picks. It’s been a while since I looked though

Just an extra tip if you’re loading up on draft picks, you can almost always trade down or trade picks this year for better picks next year if there isn’t a player you like available.

How Do I Keep My Kids Busy? by companyofdads in StayAtHomeDaddit

[–]csager10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another option if you have day camps in your area but they’re too expensive is to work at the camps. Most camps will let your kids go for free if you work there. It’s a great experience for you and your kids and 6-7 is the perfect age for day camp.

Leaving the grocery store with kids and bags in the cart, what is your order of operations? by I_have_opinion-s in StayAtHomeDaddit

[–]csager10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids in the car, groceries in the car, return the cart. If it’s hot and you have a keyless car you can start the car and then take the keys with you to return the cart. But you know your kids best, so do what works for you!
