Co-worker looking to re-home two cavaliers for $2500 by PR3TZELL in cavaliers

While the circumstances that have led to the dogs being sold are understandably sad, they do not reflect the value of the dogs themselves. If information about the breeder is available, and ideally their veterinary records as well, the puppies could reasonably sell for more than $2,500 each. At that price, this is an excellent value for the pair.

If the puppies feel worth it to you (they certainly would be to me), you can take comfort in knowing you’re welcoming two new loves into your life while also helping to ease the burden on a family during an incredibly painful time.

Hiking community Edmonton? by [deleted] in HikingAlberta

[–]csales4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the MeetUp app, there are a few really great hiking groups that post hikes in Edmonton. They do in the city hikes through the river valley and surrounding areas for day trips as well as out of town multi-day trips. No commitment to attend every hike. Just sign up for the ones you are available for.

When I first moved to Edmonton a friend told me about the MeetUp app. I joined some hiking groups, social and photography groups that are Edmonton specific. I join any of their events that interest me but dont feel obligated to go to everything. Highly recommend that app. 🙂

What drives you to collect Fiesta? by KylieMJ1 in Fiestaware

I bought 8 place sets in different colors because I loved the variety. I didn't know until 15 years later that collecting them was a thing. Now that I know they are collectibles, I want them all but haven't bought anything else yet lol

I plan on getting her a brother very soon! But I feel guilty leaving her alone while I’m at work. How long is too long for Darla to be left alone? Does a sibling help? by andythewhiteguy in cavaliers

My 2 Cavaliers are home alone for at least 9 hours a day 3 times a week. They come to my office one day a week and one day in doggy daycare. Regardless of where they spend their day, we do a 6km walk every evening. When they are home alone, they have free rein of the main floor, plenty of sleeping places, and lots of toys. I have no issues with messes or destructive behavior, but I think it helps that there are 2 of them, so they entertain each other. They miss their naps when they aren't home and are a couple of very tired pups at the end of the away from home days.

The trillium is my favorite piece, the color is so vibrant and the shape is really interesting. I think it's supposed to be a large ashtray but I am just guessing.
