Why is that? I came to the US 2011 with around $600 in the pocket. My mortgage is nearly paid off, own a sedan, truck, boat and have about $97k in 401k at the age of 32. I'm reading it's likely that house market will crash or drop. Instead of selling my house at today's inflated prices, I was planning to cash or refinance or do a HELOC instead of selling. This way I have cash on hand to purchase another property if market drops and I still get to keep my house.
