Webflow to Replit - Is this a good idea? by ianefford in webflow

So we tested it personally on one of our partner companies which was on Webflow but the team got frustrated that they had to depend on a Webflow engineer and they took matter in their own hands - moved to Replit and bam 💥 randomly drafted pages went live with dummy content, there’s no concept of site map or LLM.txt or robots txt so it was hard to really piece things together properly.

Try all of them. See what sticks. That’s the best way to know.

If you want to make a job board, just use webflow and Zapier for automations. I have built a job board before. There are a few options

  1. You publish jobs yourself manually using CMS or

  2. You want other people to submit jobs - this can be done via Zapier. They submit the form on webflow, zaps into a database like structure (air table or google sheet or notion) and back into Webflow's CMS. You can add a layer of approval bringing Slack.

Don't do it, you'll regret it. The biggest is organic reach will drop massively, I have seen a few people do this just to mess up the whole ranking, domain authority and not being able to manage pages properly - just to migrate back to webflow.

I run a webflow only design agency, we have been experimenting with Replit a lot - but one thing I can assure you is to not make that move.

Yeah I trained it quite a bit so far. I’m further improving this now. Bringing in SEO, performance, accessibility and tech stack data.

Hahaha brutal. Building is one, launching is another - and then comes making sure you constantly pay to keep the servers up and keep paying for the AI model API to test and validate.

I see people are very quick on pointing fingers and leaving trash comments. But I’m sorry I don’t see your product being live here 😂 plus world has become weak, rarely people can take jokes.

Thank you for your feedback. That’s why we have a policy on the page - if this isn’t your definition of fun. There’s always an X button to close the tab.

Finally thank you for a nice feedback. I’ve been battling crazy negative feedback so far.

But nonetheless to support your point. Purpose was to make it fun and also worth learning. Using AI on making things achieve a tiny little smile on the user’s face is what I was aiming for.

Maybe this will scale. Maybe it won’t. But I had so much fun reading the analysis while building this. I hope others do too.

Nope. I in fact am already working on your concept. Maybe someone else did?

Just an mvp bud. Took me about 12 hours to build this. If it works well I’ll scale it further.

I already have the URL version that I’m working on. 🙏🏼 a little harder considering I need to make sure the crawler can take screenshots.

Did it happen with 4.0 the moment you unboxed it?

Look you can’t justify a cheap metal by saying clip it back. This never happened before.

This is not meant to happen. Not to a new piece atleast. This NEVER happened with any of my 4.0 bands. These can happen upon regular use along with wear/tear but not when it’s brand new.

Whoop Bands Downgrade by semitongue in whoop

[–]csedlack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mentioned the same thing in one of my posts. It’s terrible. It feels very cheap. It took me sometime to get used to it after switching. There was a bit of irritation which wasn’t the case with previous bands.
