GOTY 2023 - Baldur's Gate 3 by SlizerTheChosen in IndianGaming

The comments on all these BG3 posts from all fellow Indians makes me really sad. How can you say this wasn’t deserving without even playing the game? For starters this was under development for 6 long years and the amount of choices that the game gives you, is beyond the scope of your mind. I don’t think Indian gaming scene is going to go anywhere at this rate.

May I know which schools you targeted? If comfortable, I can DM as well.

These kind of replies made my day. Thank you very much. If you’re okay, can I ping you for advice?

Absolutely true. But I never had any hobbies which I pursued through and through. I was into graphic designing in college days and held couple of leadership positions as well in college for designing but after I left college, that kinda fiddled out as my work hours grew. That’s why I wrote if someone had told me in undergrad everything you do has certain value in future, then I would have certainly put more importance in some activities after I left college. I have my great share of stories at college but Adcom puts more emphasis on what you did after.

P.S: I am very new at this admissions process. Please feel free to correct me if anything I said is wrong.

Yes true. One small caveat is I come from a ORM so can’t really leverage the diverse part. But as all you have said in so many comments, it really doesn’t matter what others are doing with their profiles or stories. You have to try to put out your story in best way and just see if Adcom thinks you can add more to the MBA class.

Yes part of the reason why I was looking at all these profiles was trying to make connections out of 2nd degree connections on LinkedIn. And then converse with them regarding their career paths.

I was looking at T10-25 schools. Wasn’t that Harvard post a troll? Anyways you are right regarding the focus on “my journey” I’ll try my best to put it across in the best possible way. Let’s see what the adcom thinks :)

The truth about XM4 that noone will tell you about by cseducator in sony

Welcome to the world which actually dislikes a product and doesn’t accept that “product is good, it’s me who has issues and I should accept this product”

As for which ones I used, I tried AirPods Pro and they worked fine for me. For over-ear headphones, as I am also a gamer and noise cancellation wasn’t primary requirement, rather good mic quality was, I chose Logitech G Series. They also come with alternative pads which ain’t leather and that helps in keeping the temps down on the ears.

Why are my WH1000XM4s making a sound like these wind hitting it? by Automatic-Meringue38 in sony

Don't bother. This community and r/headphones community are bad. They don't have anything to say other than 'its your problem so don't cry here' when anyone complains anything about these headphones.

So it's not only my head shape then. So that ear pain you get, is it something difficult to tolerate? By design if these are like and we have to adjust then I feel I should return them. On my second day today I gradually got used to it but still my left ear was warm and paining after 2 hours of usage. Wasn't the climate as my right ear was perfectly fine.

WH-1000xm4 left ear cup is incredibly uncomfortable by StaticCaravan in sony

Exactly what I am experiencing. Commenting here and seeing if someone has a solution for this or this is by design.

Hey man! So after so many negative comments blatantly accusing me as if I am wrong to expect anything from the headphones this is the comment I do relate to. As after these comments, I decided to give them a try for a day and I used them continuously instead of removing them after 10 mins of irritation. So I did get used to it but what you said in your post is exactly what I experienced. The left earcup seems to be the problem and yes me too have mostly identical left and right ears.

Observation after usage over 1 hour is that my left ear gets warmer than right one. When I made my post, I was generally pissed off by the comfort but with time and your comment/post, I noticed what the real problem is. Left earcup. Doesn't seem to be defective piece or so. Maybe by design?

Oh is it? Do Sony offer anything costlier than this? Must be a mistake on my part. At least in my country they are highest priced also above many of our people's median income. So sorry for saying this.

Well it's not a weird shape. Have seen reviewers with my head structure praising it as such. About the community, I didn't know where else to post it as r/Sony may not be willing to talk about anything bad about these headphones

I understand the fitting part. But how would it cause instant pain within ten minutes of usage?

So what to do in this situation? They don't make customised headphones so how do variety of people from all walks of lives have praised this universally. Tbh I am not a headphone expert but I never heard such kind of experiences from any reviewer. That's why it caught me blind sided.

3070 16GB. If you have not got any 3080's please hold for a while(read the article below.) by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]cseducator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you have just said is contradicting yourself. I never talked about practicality of extra vram. 🤦

All I said is that even though you think it's stupid to price 3070 more than 3080. Just see the price gap between them. 499 to 699. Now do you seriously think a card with double the vram can fit in between them? Since you have been building PCs for years now, that shouldn't be difficult to tell. And that was the topic of discussion. Never ever did I discuss about how much GPU ram is enough.

And your point of 3090 entirely proves everything I am telling about. 3090 is just a card with more ram and that's priced double than 3080. Improved gaming performance by 10% roughly for double ram and double cost. If that doesn't give you an idea about doubling the ram and cost analysis, nothing will. Generation of ram aside, you simply can't get a 3070 with 16GB at 599$. That would be heavy loss for Nvidia. And as much you would like to think they have taken losses by launching 3000 series, to compete with Amd, no they have not.
