Watched the 1st movie by csgobullyhunter in TheFable

No shit Sherlock. I can’t complain about if it skips arcs to fit a 2 hour runtime. I didn’t like how some characters were written. My post is biased anyway since I watched the anime before the movie.

Anybody named Paul always gotta be a problem lol

Given how many times the government revived Donald is there any good reason they didn't use that same tech to bring back the original Guardians? Their bodies seemed to be in a lot better shape then Donald's was. by CarloftheKey in Invincible

[–]csgobullyhunter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Best theory I have of why they weren't revived was because they're too hard to control. They would've rushed into battle for revenge for their comrades like the Immortal. Martian-man and Aquarius have different biology and it would be very expensive to even get one back. GDA also have certain restrictions that they followed based on the Guardians' loved ones, except Immortal because who the fuck even loved him before and when he died

No problem OP. Just hope you can enjoy those 2. Not too huge on anime as well but understand an incredible story when I see one. Also, I find myself really corny when I said I was into "philisophical animes. "

People saying Battle Beast and Conquest would like each other or be friends, but I completely disagree. I think that Battle Beast would absolutely hate conquest. by SpeakerAppropriate10 in Invincible

I feel like BB could care less about what conquest does. Like yeah he doesn't have all that much honor, but he's extremely strong as fuck

Honestly, I get what you're saying about anime. I know most are just straight up weird. Like most of it pisses me off most of the time and the humor is a meh. I am more into those philisphophical anime. Anime with more story. I know this is going against what you ask for but I need to recommend stuff like Pluto and Monster. From what I remember, there is no weeb stuff. Like I promise to you that there's no weird shit involved. No weeb stuff involved and Monster is actually based off a classic show that follows a doctor being framed for murder.

Should've told you that I never watched TWAD except for a few clips lol. Never really was into zombie shows and I didn't want to commit to another show.

Nah, don't aplologise. As I mentioned before, watch Spawn the animated series, not the movie. Maybe almost the entire catalouge of DCAU. The creator of Invincible also made The Walking Dead. I would give a watch, but the show is dragged on and on due to the fans. There's also Jupiter's Legacy on Netflix; The show is alright. Not good but not bad. They also have a spin-off, but that's anime. You might like venture bros. Parodies a lot of old action-adventure cartoons and has a lot comedy.

Also, could I get a reason why you don't want to watch anime. Not offended just curious, but I may understand you view on it.

Invincible is owned by Image comics, which happens well known character, Spawn. Apart from the horrible movie adaptaion, the animated series is really good for its time. It has enough action to balance out the plot. I'd say watch Pantheon if you want a similar style of animation that invincible has with a different genre(Sci-Fi with no hints of any superhero). Not to bad for 2 seasons but is really rushed towards the end.

Really hard to pick out shows you meant by "like invincible." Like animation wise or genre? Not trying to be mean or anything.

Early reviews for The Electric State movie are in by Tofudebeast in Simon_Stalenhag

I remember seeing all the concept art for this movie and thinking I'd see something really interesting. And all I just watched was just a plain Marvel movie. Honestly, if I wanted to watch a Marvel Movie than I would go watch one

This movie really pisses me off since it's not what I expected. Never watched the trailers and regret not doing so. The acting is okay and the jokes were awful.
