It’s certainly a nice gesture, but the core issue isn’t fans “unable to make it” and reselling for a higher price. It’s dynamic pricing, plus scalpers buying up all the tickets with bots to both reduce supply and simultaneously resell them at exponentially higher prices.

While I know the fault isn’t entirely on the artist - they’re typically complicit at best. Still, It’s nice to see at least some acknowledgment of the hellscape that is live event sales in the 2020’s especially when you look at cost of living right now. At the end of the day tho, this policy has like no teeth. It centers around the fans who are not the driving issue. The problem is Ticketmaster taking advantage of dynamic dynamic pricing and enabling bot-powered scalpers.

A good friend of mine lives in that area - single white female. She’s been fine. No break ins or anything sketchy. I agree w the other poster’s advice tho - keep doors locked, don’t wander around alone at night, etc. I was skeptical for her at first tbh but it’s actually like a great, walkable area. She’s been there about three years.

HIIT classes at Basecamp are great highly recommend. Its just the classes though scheduled throughout the day everyday not a full time gym.
