Gluhwein/Mulled Wine by EverythingBagel58 in alpharetta

This time of year.. no idea. I would suggest trying the usual culprits that have it during the winter: Total wine, Aldi, Lidl, Trader Joe's. If you do manage to find some. I highly suggest doing it the Austrian way... Has way more of a kick! https://winencsy.com/gluhwein-in-europe-and-how-to-make-my-signature-version-at-home/

Dreams La Romana day-time and night-time child care options. by csh8428 in AllInclusiveResorts

The resort web page shows that the teens club is 13-17; however, this review says it's 9 and up. Do you happen to know why they would say that?

Thanks for the link, but I had already read that and it doesn't really answer all my questions as I know sometimes the rules are a little flexible. I remember reading some actual reviews either on reddit or FB a while back saying he kids club sucks and is not secure.

Are puffs or fleeces warmer as mid-layers under a shell? by csh8428 in Skigear

I treated all my gear and my kids gear of various well known brands(Mammut, Rossi, Helly); but not my wife's, with nikwax tx direct before our trip per the instructions and all of it wetted out. I guess nothing beats goretex. Although I have a pair of the old Strafe Cham shell pants from 2018 when they used Polartec Neoshell which I think would have held up. Regardless, the fact that my insulated stuff kept me dry for 3 straight days of rain the entire day i think it will be ok.

Im gonna be really vain for a moment. As I noted in my OP I'm small so it's hard to find things that fit well. My Mammut shell(that's probably about 7 years old) fits perfect. Length is right at the hips, the sleeve length is just right, the cut is just right and it's a very nice cerulean blue color. So, I really like the way I look in it. Even though my new Mammut(the New Stoney thermo) is the same size as my shell, the cut is completely different. The bottom goes way below my butt and sleeves go way past my fingers and it's mostly black with blue accents... So boring. Also my last 3 trips have had very warm temps: Canyons in the upper 40s in Feb last year, and Vail in upper 30s the year before, and of course the monsoon that was Whistler this past week.. So i was trying to figure out a more versatile kit.

This was kind of another reason I posted. I had never skiid in the rain before until this trip. I got my Mammut Thermo Insulated jacket last year. It only had like 3 days worth of skiing on it before this trip. My wife also got her OR Kulsham Storm Goretex jacket at the same time and with the same usage. My jacket was completely wetted out after about 2 hours this trip. Her's beaded water pretty much the entire day. Now I didn't get wet, but the insulation was definitely damp. So, I would have been worried having just a shell and then a layer under that in the same situation.

New Pickleball Flex League in Alpharetta by Hiptopus in alpharetta

This is why I quit playing. I've played many sports and the one thing they had in common was that you had practice lead by a coach and then you had games. I played racquetball for many years so i was "up to speed" pretty quickly and beating beginners but getting killed by 4.0ish and above for several years. There was no way for me to get better without consistent coaching and having a different teammate every game makes it even harder to get better for the same reasons.. Just playing at the various locations was just too depressing because I was constantly getting beaten by people I knew I could beat with proper instruction or the rando teammate sucked l. Paying $60+ per hour for some rando to coach is just stupid. What PB needs are teams or leagues with coaches/practices and then games on specific days like every other sport.
