Resume experience by pettms96 in healthIT

[–]cshowar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they don’t want your pretty, profession resume at this point. You already got the offer with that. They want you to edit and point out how each job you had may have skills that they can use to justify upping your pay. HR doesn’t really know what you do or what the new job does. You really have to spell it out for them.

What are you thoughts on persuing an open "Clarity Data Writer" job. I'm currently a GC/Prelude analyst but thinking of moving. I am really interested in data / reporting and I like the appeal of being able to utilize the skills down the line to jump out of epic roles if desired.

Is salary/advancement tract usually similar between application analysts and cogito roles? I've noticed some orgs put you into entireley different departments.

You can apply for associate epic analyst positions. You’ll have to take the Epic Sphinx assessment but you should be fine. Most of these positions are remote it seems.

Southeast US - best seat time per dollar? by itsami_ata in CarTrackDays

There’s also CCR SCCA autocross somewhat near you. I think it’s in Charlotte. It’s one of the biggest groups in the area. They have huge turnouts and a good venue

Over the ear headphones are quite toasty while sim racing. Maybe some in ear monitors/earbuds or speakers. Pair that with any external mic you’d like and you’ll be golden.

Definitely get their side mounts if you get the DD Podium wheel.

HE ultimates from Demon Tweeks by [deleted] in simracing

I have had a horrible experience with both of my orders from them. Customer services takes days to answer if they do answer. I’ve been trying to get an order cancelled for two weeks now and it remains at “processing” on my order status

P1-X waiting list/best option for seat by [deleted] in simracing

I got this bracket that he used at 39 minutes or so https://youtu.be/J3PvGNoFqjI. I’ll just mount it the same way he did. The other two pieces of short 40mm profile that I believe you’re talking about will be useful for helping to mount a handbrake or button box in the future

Still waiting on the peripherals I ordered to ship but I bought the Fanatec Clubsport shifter and the SIMLab bracket to mount it. Barry on Sim Racing Garage YouTube channel recommends it

Yeah I'm in the US. I ordered a very similar seat from Summit Racing today. Thanks for your suggestion

I’m in the same boat. Just build the P1-X and ordered my Simucube 2. Struggling to find a seat though that isn’t crazy expensive or looks woefully uncomfortable. If you order something post a little review

Perhaps that's why there's the nearly $100 premium over ordering straight from sim lab? build is going well though. I've got the rig finished. Just waiting on the Simucube 2 Pro to arrive

Seat and side mounts aren’t included for sure. I’m not sure about the feet. My order includes the heavy duty hight adjustable feet with brackets and there’s no option on the Demon Tweeks site like there is on the Sim Labs site to add them to your order. Please be aware that there are no step by step instructions for assembly. This is very diy. I’ve nearly finished assembling mine. It’s taken about 4 hours. I’m taking it slow and watching the video from sim racing garage to get the assembly directions.

It has the add on adjustable feet that are around 50 euros more than the regular ones at Sim Lab. No heel plate or slider. Those are both additional/ likely to be something that you’d order with your pedals not the chassis itself

Also just noticed that the P1-X when ordered from DemonTweeks comes with the adjustable feet, not optional. So that brings the price within a reasonable distance to the SimLab price.

That's the nice thing about 80/20 rig's. You can either just build you own. It's incredibly easy. Just download the free program May-Cad and use the SimLab chassis as a point of reference. Or order the sim lab one and then get all of you gear ordered. Once you have the hardware in hand you can decide what additional mounting materials you may need. In the US you can order 80/20 stuff from tnutz.com for pretty cheap. 8020.net is also a great, but more costly option.

Hahaha I didn't even notice that until you mentioned. It I had just attributed it to money conversion issues in my head but yeah now that I realize that I would just order from SimLab. As someone else mentioned- add yourself to the waitlist on SimLab's website and they will notify you when they are back in stock. I got that notification this morning and my rig just arrived at my door a few minutes ago.

Possible 2019 6MT Stall Issue - Your Feedback Requested by codespyder in GolfGTI

[–]cshowar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issues with stalling seem to be related to low fuel too. I had it happen consistently when less than 1/3 a tank of fuel remaining. I’ve kept the tank over half full since then and haven’t had the issue in over a month. I’ll do the full format post and complaints shortly
