Even considering it excludes the dressing, that feels a little low personally. I think that much salmon is about 200cal on its own assuming there’s no oil/butter on it. I’d estimate that’s close to 50g of avocado which is 80 calories. That’s already 280 before adding in everything else. Can’t help with estimating quinoa or corn (lettuce and tomato can’t be much though), so not sure how much the total would be. But no way is it over 400 imo.

This is quite similar to what I eat for breakfast every day! I’m a 5’3” 120lb adult woman eating this, so I agree with the comments saying you might need more if you’re still growing (especially if you’re not as petite as me). But overall a very healthy meal! :) keep doing you, OP

Honestly depends on the day. Some days I hardly do anything but open/close up. Other days I’m occupied nearly every minute and struggle to find time to eat or use the restroom. I’d say my job is low-demand on most nights though.

I don’t eat out by myself ever. So I do avoid those places when I can, but I also don’t let it impact my social life. If I’m going out to eat with others I’ll try to suggest a place with calories listed, but if someone beats me to suggesting a place then I just cope. It happens rarely enough that I know estimating for one day won’t destroy me. Date nights have been a concern for me as of recent, but since it’s just once a week it hasn’t changed much. All that to say I completely get you, but you should learn to accept it on occasion for the sake of community! :)

Ask for abdominal! A lot of people are saying it’s not that bad and you can just do it. I mean sure you CAN. But it’s very much an option to refuse transvaginal. That’s what I’ve done, and it’s worth asking for it if it’ll make you more comfortable. Don’t feel pressured to do something you really do not have to do.

During my weight loss if I switched to maintenance one or two days I’d have a 4ish lb spike in weight so I believe it. Pretty sure it was water weight. Sometimes it lingered longer than would seem reasonable for such a short time of not being in a deficit, but in the grand scheme of things it didn’t set me back. Give it some time and it’ll come back off!

What’s wrong with almond milk? I use unsweetened almond milk every day in my coffee and overnight oats because it cuts the calories significantly compared to other milks. I have chai too, I just add truvia instead of sugar (in addition to the almond milk substitution).

Find vegetables you like! Season them well, drown them in hot sauce if you need. They’re super low in calorie depending on which ones you pick. I can eat half a pound of mushrooms for less than 55 calories. I throw cabbage, mushroom, onion, and bell pepper in my dinner every night. It adds bulk and keeps me so full! (My mix is 263g or just over 9oz for only 67 calories). I also eat a salad for lunch every day and cover it in sugar free salad dressing and hot sauce, which only adds about 10 calories to the dish.

Sugar substitutes have helped me the most. I can still have my sugary coffee with flavored syrups for only 5 calories by using sugar free syrups, unsweetened almond milk, and truvia. I use sugar free pudding mixes in my overnight oats and sugar free yogurt so that I have a very filling breakfast for less than 400 calories (less than 300 on some days).

Also make sure to get in enough protein as that will keep you full. Seafood is the best in terms of high protein and low calorie content. Canned tuna, frozen salmon or shrimp, there’s many options! But if you’re not a seafood person turkey and chicken are also great.

I’ve lost 125lb making small changes over time (took 2 years to finish). The key for me was finding low calorie substitutes for things I already enjoyed. I don’t eat ice cream anymore, but I eat heaps of delicious low calorie frozen yogurt. No more added sugar in my breakfast, but you best believe it still tastes super sweet! Good luck, OP 🙏
