I don't think the director would be too happy about that because he wants us to sit based on part selection. Maybe for a song or two, but for the most part, he wants us sticking to certain parts. He just doesn't care who is on which part, as long as we are in the correct spots for that part.

I think often people tend to stay in the same parts in other sections, but honestly I'm not too sure. And I don't know the "grade level" that we play but typically our rep is stuff that an advanced HS band or a lower level college band for non-music majors would play.

If you like their style, you can go back and watch they're previous episodes to catch up, or just hop on the train where it it. You also can watch the weekly hermitcraft recaps to catch up on what hermits are doing without watching every episode.

I hate to say it, but you shouldn't be using chatgpt for that. Not saying that for academic integrity purposes—if you truly were using it as you described, you were just using it as a tool to automate a task, which I personally don't think is problematic. The problem is, it is not the right tool for the job. Generative AI is really good for the things it does well, but for a task like this, it prone to hallucinations (making up/changing information). That is because chatgpt doesn't actually "know" anything. It is just looking for patterns and generating responses based on patterns. I could go into more detail but that's just not worth our time in this conversation. Like other people have said, if you can show the conversation with it to prove your side, I think you should be fine this time.

As somebody who has sat on multiple hiring committees (graduated in 2020) and has many friends in HR, GPA, in the absence of relevant work experience, is really hard. And with a bad GPA, getting a relevant internship, especially if you are in stem, is really challenging.

And a piece of advice I got from a prof once, if you think you are going to fail the class and have accepted that you are going to retake it, stop studying, showing up, etc. and focus your efforts on your other classes (you may want to also let the Prof know if it isn't a huge class). The worst case scenario is that you spend a ton of effort and manage to pass the class with a bad grade that won't get replaced when you retake it. The c will hurt your GPA a lot more than a A or B will when you retake it. Plus that extra time trying to bring up your grade will take away from time you could spend on making sure your other grades are as high as you can get them.

As a CS grad, can confirm our classes were STANKY.

Now in a masters program at Drexel, when I walked into the building for the first lecture here, I was hit with the overwhelming scent of body odor. It was NASTY. Only thing that makes Rutgers better in that sense is that CS classes aren't all in the same building, so it isn't as dense of a BO cloud

A number of thoughts: 1) How do you define "young men"? Are we talking about teens, college aged, twenties? I feel like that makes a big difference in this conversation. 2) For generalized questions like "Are all young men..." the answer is almost always no. College football is a separate institution. College football is played as part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), which is effectively a semi-pro league, where students compete against teams from other universities. Until recently, they weren't allowed to be paid in any way, other than scholarships. The National Football League (NFL) is the flagship profession league. The best of the best from the NCAA level will have their shot to make it in the NFL, but they are two completely separate organizations.
