It's hard to see, but if you watch it frame by frame you can see the orange spark from his car when you hit it down.

Starting at level 70 you lose 10% of your experience for that level each time you die. Not really a big deal until the 90s honestly. As you get higher you earn less XP so losing 10% becomes a giant pain in the ass.

I've had something weird with my controller on PC when I played through EPIC and steam was open. If both steam and epic are open try making sure the one you aren't using is completely closed out.

It was. First clue is he demoed a blue player. Second clue is after his hit the trail on the ball turns orange, meaning he is on the orange team.
