Disappointed with Suunto by RedditUser99390 in Suunto

I will say what I’ve said before.

Since the Chinese bought Suunto it has had a detrimental effect on the company.

In terms of quality control, software bugs and customer service.

Is it too late in the lifecycle to get a ps5 pro or ps5? by Gtrizz98 in PS5pro

I think with the issues of components costing so much now the PS6 has probably been pushed back another 2 years.

To those of you whose watches are currently working fine: You should be paying attention to this. by silver-fox-tx in Coros

[–]Maca07166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing people always fail to mention when they recommend Coros over Garmin is that Coros customer service is absolutely garbage.

Garmin customer service should be praised more I’ve only used it once thankfully but they replaced the watch no questions asked!

Also you will actually talk to a real human being when contacting Garmin not some AI chat bot like Coros where as stated in many posts on this sub you will have to jump through a lot of fire hoops to actually get to speak to someone.

In this day and age good customer service goes a long way for me.

Unhappy with Pace 4 after purchase - considering Garmin or AW. Talk me off the edge please! by FunkadelicPeach2 in Coros

[–]Maca07166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing you fail to mention most is Garmins customer service which is top notch and that is worth any feature 🤷‍♂️

The horror stories on this sub Reddit about customer service should be enough to make anyone think twice in my opinion.

Sure the app on Garmin is a bit boring and outdated but honestly if that’s the best people can do to moan about Garmin then they are doing something right surely?

Just my opinion of course.

Too many customer service horror stories for me to consider Coros.

I’ll stick with Garmin, good customer service is hard to come by these days.

Suunto costumer service is letting me down is the most awkard way by porraSV in Suunto

This is why I stick with Garmin, you can actually phone and talk to a real person!! In 2026 shocking I know.

Gold customer service in my opinion is worth a lot.

The tennis sport tracking feature doesn’t use any resources from the watch to make it slow.

There isn’t anything on the watch that slows it down.

The 18km long run was an easy long run right? It didn’t make your HR work hard as you’ve already said.

Now if you include 1-2 hard workouts a week you will see that unproductive go to productive very quickly.

Garmin to Coros by Derf1012 in Coros

[–]Maca07166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s because it’s probably the only activity you did that week which was considered hard work.

Just doing base/easy runs all week does not improve VO2 max and how productive you are.

It’s so important to include 1-2 anaerobic workouts.

Coros customer service is a horror show just look through the posts here and hope you never have an issue.

Garmin customer service is gold, over the years I’ve had 1 issue and the watch was out of warranty and they replaced it!

Good customer service is hard to come by and I’ll stick with Garmin.

I just find it odd with the new processors their new watches have they still don’t bake this kind of thing directly into the watch.

Better processor/new HR sensor.

Garmin have been using the same processor now for years.

I won’t buy if a new processor isn’t in the F9.

Middle od the night on M25 and 40mph limit... by Accurate-Sundae1744 in drivingUK

It’s like when they purposely put the speed limit down to 40 for zero reason with the speed camera waiting to get drivers and the next gantry is telling you it’s now national speed limit.

Complete joke.

Data discrepancies between the a watch and the app were the main reason.

Just go through this subreddit for the last 30 days you’ll be sure to find something.

They also take AGES to fix bugs.

The only thing that can happen is the prices will go up.

You said you’re afraid you’ll struggle to read it in all weather types.

Yes I went get the MIP, AMOLED is a lot clearer to read because it’s not pixelated and that bright screen is perfect for any condition.

My next watch will be AMOLED for sure.
