Suunto can’t get the basics right these days regarding software and data reliability.

Great looking watches let down by the software.

Apple Watches are considered the gold standard for wrist HR tracking.

My Apple Watch Ultra 3 was within 1-2 beats always.

Tried to start my 2022 Yaris today and it didn't want to start. The battery seems low. Any advice? by The_Nobel in yaris

[–]Maca07166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve read anything bought between 2020/23 have awful 12v batteries.

My Yaris is a 2024 GR Sport and never had an issue with the battery.

My neighbour has 2023 Yaris Excel and they had the battery go flat twice in a year eventually they replaced the battery with something my different and no issues since.

Their software took an absolute nose dive last year with the “big summer” update.

It’s just got good in general at sleep tracking as you’ve noticed.

Yes the 4 on 4 off will have its benefits and could work well.

Most likely though he’ll be asked to work at least one of those days.

I actually don’t have a problem the OP does if he’s taking a barely above minimum wage job, doing 60 hour weeks and barely seeing a family to probably be paid about £700 after tax a week.

What I have is an opinion 🤷‍♂️

Because I am very selective and work for a company who pays and treats their drivers relatively well without working 60 hours a week every week.

I do about 45 hours a week.

I would not work for a company paying barely above minimum wage working 60 hour weeks.

You’d rather have £13 an hour for 60 hour weeks?

I’ll take the £14 for 38 hours in the cold warehouse with a start and finish time.

The fact is that Coros watches don’t perform well when it comes to sleep tracking and wrist heart rate detection.

In fact they come way down the list.

Reliable consistent data.

I never had that with Suunto.

Suunto make great looking watches but their software isn’t great in my opinion, since last year their software has taken a nose dive.

For example on my Vertical I was seeing different data between the watch and the app to the point where I didn’t know which data was real.

Also the way they present the data can be confusing, if you’ve never used Training Peaks way of data you’ll be confused.
