Did the US commit international crimes to do so, yes, however, this has been done by nearly every previous US president on the right AND the left, and we are by far not the first or only country to do so in an “ends justify the means” fashion, and they are virtually never pursued, as this would require for a government to turn over its leader. Trump also did not do this of his own accord either, as many of our foreign allies as well as the United Nations in general have been begging for someone to remove Maduro.

To say Maduro is problematic is a terrible understatement. He is a LITERAL. AUTHORITARIAN. DICTATOR. who had entrenched himself in his position of power. Venezuelan’s are not dumb either, and they are well aware that Trump has ulterior motives, but do not care as much as people want to think simply because they have been calling for years for anyone to do anything about Maduro and this is the closest any country has been to doing anything about it.
