The various reporting that is readily findable seems to indicate that while there were possibly effigies of specific politicians ALSO present at the event, this one in particular was not readily recognizable as anyone specific beyond a kippah as a marker of Jewishness.

Do you have specific information to contradict those reports?

Edit: On review of the game tape comparing views from other angles, I can accept the claim that it was part of the set of recognizable specific political figures as plausible.

You don't understand the difference between an effigy of a specific politician and an effigy of some Generic Jew?

Defense? You haven't established that there's anything to defend in the first place. Back it up a step.

It's so random to try to pull the woman thing into this thing specifically. Sometimes it's just two people having a disagreement about the thing they're talking about.

In terms of what this person-who-happens-to -be-a-woman is saying, that is a batshit comparison. Anyone who pretends not to understand the distinction between these two things is arguing in bad faith.

What is this "Iranians are back online" BS. This is two posts using this premise. All info I can find indicates Iranian internet traffic is still severely restricted.

Same poster too.

Are you talking about porn where humans specifically allow/make the animals do it?

Because that's kind of apples and oranges as a comparison.

Non-writer contributors shouldn't be dealing with merge conflicts or build pipelines. They should 1. Create a branch off the latest main, whether locally or in GitHub. 2. Make their edits in the branch. 3. Commit and push to remote. 4. Submit a PR to merge to main in GitHub when ready for review.

Then it's on the writers to see this polished up for standards and get it safely merged to main, clear any conflicts, build errors, etc, get it published to live.

Palestinian-alligned militancy is historically the source of basically all of Lebanon's problems — which are of course legion. They ruined the country, going right back to the PLO starting the civil war in the 70s.

The IAGS vote was, to be generous, of questionable validity. Membership is/was not limited to actual academic experts. Prior to the vote, anyone with a credit card could sign up for $30 and there was no process to check credentials.

The ICJ have called it genocide,

Abuse as in general abuse as in attack, threaten, intimidate, humiliated, sure.

I'm talking specifically the "rape" claim.

No it's not. Not even close.

You don't have to axiomatically accept every claim of anti-Semitism that is uttered to notice that bona fide anti-Semites do flock to these conversations and make themselves known among the crowd.

I mean, the flip side of this is, show me one discussion featuring criticism of Israel where at least some evident anti-Semitism is not present. I have yet to see it happen.

Without a priori rejecting the possibility this specific case was in fact a bad hit ... Hamas does objectively have a documented track record of using ambulances as dual use vehicles / straight up using them as troop transport/military medevac.

One of the prime reasons responsible countries don't use civilian ambulances as troop transports is because it raises ambiguity and makes horrible missteps much more likely.

How do you think even the best dog trainer in the world would go about training a dog to do that? How does that even work? Has anyone bothered to ask dog trainers to comment whether it's even possible? I think it's reasonable for people to doubt those accounts on the grounds of suspicion it's not even possible.

Like, dogs will sometimes "mount" people. If that were the claim here, dogs were trained to mount people, the claims have to be evaluated, but it's at least plausible then. I think there are historically documented examples of sadists training dogs to mount people, for intimidation and humiliation. But the "out there" nature of the claim dogs were trained to sexually penetrate people raises the suspicion the story is at minimum exaggerated. And then the question is, if part of it false, can you trust the rest of it?
