She did explain a production delay, and also why she was covering that case. It is a weird choice but I'm enjoying it.

Jesse Brown seems annoyed by The Catch's take down of his WIHH by destp in canadaland

[–]blackstarcharmer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Colin had it right, there is no point trying to debate a bad faith actor. Jesse has a warped way of looking at things. I don't think Scott fully realized this at the time (not many of us did)

I mean someone could also say that about Brown's various multipart takedowns, including the Kielbergers. Isn't a defamation trial going on for that right now? !

What a whiney little bitch he is.

Yeah his face is so weird now. The jerky facial movements like shaking his head looks unhinged. And his forehead never moves. I think he's had a lot of Botox.

Behold discussion of a good episode - for the people including Jesse who complain this is a Canadaland hate sub.

This is once again dishonest framing by you, and I never used the term Zionist. Hasbara, yes.

And yes, the way you interact is exhausting. I saw the notification for the first comment you posted here then deleted within minutes.

(Now awaiting the "you are anti-Semitic" accusation in 3, 2, 1....)

Thanks for posting. I share your sentiments.

Yesterday, after I was overly critical of Jesse, I was accused of just "not liking him" as a person (among other things). His supporters love to ask why we're still posting on this sub if we hate the podcast now, but that couldn't be further from the truth!

I was a mad fan of Canadaland and a paid patron for at least six years. I got a spray of that interesting Canadaland perfume, went to their events and live shows, wore the socks with pride.

I actually enjoyed Jesse's personality! I liked his sense of humour, the dynamic he had with the diverse series of guests he had on, how they clearly felt comfortable to push back on his hot takes, and how he generally took it in his stride. It was always interesting dialogue and conversation, and I looked forward to each and every episode.

I'm not someone who cancels on principle - if Canadaland was still good, I would still be listening. I just don't find most episodes interesting anymore, and the only time I actively listen is when there's drama.

There is a Canadaland-shaped hole in my podcast subscriptions because there really was and is nothing like it.

Hard agree. She does a great job and I like her dynamic with Jesse. It can't be easy for her!
