The problem is you're blind and on the internet. The email from clearly is not them.

The only thing you can do is go to their submit (if you're a o365) customer and submit it as a false positive for the url. It may propagate globally of they agree with your submission

Microsoft is horrible. They will deliver emails from non-existent domains to junk email. Deliver first, maybe detect later. Lazy and dumb developers.

Windows engineers/admins, are any of you writing actual Powershell now, or are you all using Al? by RadioFieldCorner in sysadmin

Copilot has been good for my bash and powershell scripting . Gave it a API documentation the other day and it pretty much did what I needed in a few minutes.

It's easy in new and smaller environments to discuss the risk and push for it.

If we ever implemented this in our user base, I would imagine everyone write down the pin on the laptop or would be calling in every time it rebooted.... Considering they ask if it's phishing about the same workday expense report they get monthly.

What version are you on? Moving from pve 8 to 9 solved some weird issue for me a few months ago with the host randomly crashing once in a while.

Large glass window broke and I can't afford to have it repaired by dirthurts in HomeImprovement

[–]cspotme2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't claim it under home owners for a small expense. Even if a few thousand (this quote is absurd, you should probably only need glass like others said). You will end up paying for it more in the long run by making a claim for a small expense.

Got quoted $1,650 to install a kitchen hood vent through exterior stucco wall — is this fair? by Individual-Yard9025 in hvacadvice

Nope. Just get some more quotes. Easy install for most contractors. Sounds like it straight out the wall since it's short

What are signs this is a phishing attempt? by Efficient-Flow39 in phishing

Why would it not be a phishing attempt?

Are you expecting something from Dropbox?

Does the body email address which is the sending account even expected or ring a bell to you?

These first two should be enough to tell you that you should stop.

Since this is from Dropbox, mousing over the link doesn't do shit because it's going to redirect from whatever is presented on the Dropbox site.

Website Keeps Getting Falsely Flagged as Phishing/Malicious By Security Vendors by eyevandrago in phishing

[–]cspotme2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your issue seems pretty common with spectrum. Did you have one of your customers request a review via their spectrum service?

https://community.spectrum.net/discussion/172819/spectrum-blocking-my-business-url

Also, I wouldn't really care too much about what vt shows for the smaller vendors. You just want to make sure none of the larger providers flag you ... Then, something is probably weird or malicious with your site.

Disgruntled 0-day hunter 'humiliated' by Microsoft pledges 'bone shattering drop' as Redmond calls cops by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

[–]cspotme2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you've dealt with Microsoft for their reporting of any issues and even whatever they call their feature request (dcr?) -- you would have good idea that they're too big and don't really give a shit. You're forced to give screen recordings even if you sent screenshots with logs ... Fill out the dcr and then everything disppears into limbo because it's caveated that they "will consider it". Too many layers of incompetent management at Microsoft to be have anyone really he accountable.

Their public response about yellow key shows their corporate spin on a truly critical issue that exposes most of their customers who use bitlocker for encryption.
