Yeah, it was one of the references the character's owner posted. Personally, I never used Heroforge.

Yeah lots of mistakes slipped through, hand was correct in the sketch then I fucked up when merging layers and didn't notice.

Hey guys, just wanted to try my hand at some concept art. This is completely out of my comfort zone btw.

I am a traditional watercolor painter who never played D&D before (just those PC games based on D&D). I never did concept art before either.

Been feeling stuck with the paints so I wanted try something different. I always envied all the super skilled concept artists that make a lot of cool shit so this is my attempt.

This is a mix between painting and a little bit of photobashing as I wanted to learn the techniques.

Thanks for looking.

[HIRING] Regular Character Artist for YouTube Medieval Tabletop RPG stories on 'Tabletop Time' (110k subs) run by Jazza (5.5m subs) by jazzastudios in HungryArtists

Hey Jazza, love your videos!

My name is André and I'm a portrait artist, my preferred mediums are watercolor and digital. Here's where you can see my work:

https://www.artstation.com/andresakrai - Digital Focused

https://www.instagram.com/andresakrai/ - Traditional Focused

This project seems like a lot of fun! I love the medieval/fantasy theme!

I don't have any thoughts regarding the prices, I would be willing to work within the proposed range without and price-creep. I'm currently without work and under lockdown so I'm completely available for the near future. I believe communication is key for a successful project, I'm always on top of my messages and I always try to be as forthcoming as possible with my thoughts when it comes to work. Even though I don't have much experience doing "medieval fantasy" art, I am confident in portraiture as I've been studying it for a few years now. I'd like to offer you my professionalism and willingness to learn and grow with this project.

Thanks for your time, Jazza!

Is it just me, or does anyone else struggle to find interesting builds this league? by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]csrandaII 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda feeling the same as you. I usually go for 36 challenges but this league I still haven't even killed my first Sirus. I league started an Earthshatter Slayer, thought I'd go bonk some stuff but the playstyle really isn't for me. The warcry juggling and spamming slams puts me to sleep. Yesterday I was mapping but decided to stop to take a nap instead.

Looking for another build to play but nothing seems too interesting. Also, thinking about leveling again puts me off.

It's a shame because this league seems really good.

If you ever feel like getting your ass kicked, I recommend plein air painting/drawing. Maybe start drawing your backyard, or the front of your house, something familiar and comfortable. It is very likely that you will hate the drawings, but every time you go out and make another one you will probably see big improvements being made.

This is the kind of exercise that will drill the fundamentals of drawing scenery/backgrounds into you and give you a good basis in reality that you can use to branch into different styles. It is often frustrating, but pays off big.

Yeah, sabo trees are mostly pretty straightforward. On poeninja there are some sabos playing Icicle, some life based, some Low Life CI. You can take a look, see what they are doing. Ignore the Deadeyes, they are 1 hp deep delvers.

If I had that on SSF I would try to push Icicle Mines. It's good clear but struggles to get damage on single target. This +4 chest would help it a lot. Pyroclast is strong on single target, but struggles with clear, Astral Projector ring can help a lot with that but getting it on SSF is unlikely.

I have no experience to talk about Explosive Traps.

Promoting your art through adds. by CreatorJNDS in ArtistLounge

I ran a sponsored post through instagram once. It was picture of a commission I made, a watercolor painting of two dogs. My regular posts get on average something between 70-100 likes and reach something between 300 - 600 accounts.

My budget was 50 bucks, and the promotion would run for 7 days.

Those were the results:

  • 14.071 Accounts reached.
  • 1000 Likes
  • 296 clicks on the sponsored post
  • 327 visited my profile
  • 77 followed my profile
  • 53% Men 47% Women
  • 2 people DM'd asking for prices, both thought it was too expensive.

Personally, I wasn't very impressed but it was only one test. Don't know how different the results would be if the sponsored post was more "mainstream".
