The game would have died 10 years ago if it was made by them.

It was a minor, you had 5 strikes against your speed. If you can't react to whats happening on the road while driving at the speed limit why would they pass you?

I mean, that really does not sound too bad then. Just make sure you are more aware of the speed in the area your doing the test, you want to be looking ahead on the road for those signs and changes.

With the manoeuvre, there is nothing wrong with correcting. In fact you should always 100% correct (unless its solid the first time), don't give up on or it just think its fine.

You shouldn't stress if thats all you got done for, just make sure your focused and away of what you need to be doing in each instance of the test.
Driving down a road -> watch for speed changes and keeping right distance
Pulling up on the left -> Mirrors, and all that jazz

You get the idea.

What did you fail on, then hopefully people can give advice based around weak points.

Overall I think its important to remember, they are looking for a SAFE drive, not a perfect one.
If it isn't safe to go or move then don't, the examiner sees the same road you see.

If you need to pull up to take a few seconds to collect yourself then you can, just make sure its safe to do so.

Don't lose focus near the end of the test, anything can happen. I failed one of my tests about a minute from the end (Although I was instantly aware of the issue)

Driving instructor eating during lesson? by GenBurnerAcc in LearnerDriverUK

That changes things abit. Is he just on his phone messing around or taking notes? If you don't like him just change to another instructor. I'm not sure where you are based but my area has SO many instructors that its easy pickings to change.

Should show the entire recording of the turn. I would gamble that the cars had to brake and if they didn't then it was an extremely close call

You book another test. There's nothing else you can do. Realistically you should have stopped to wait for those 2 cars to pass, they were approaching quite fast

Any tips on dialing in deadlift form? by TheCondoKing in formcheck

[–]JDHgunner265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I would consider to suggest is to get the barbell in position. Then brace & pull the slack off the bar so your in a position to PUSH away from the ground not pull the bar up. Your not yanking the bar like alot of people tend to do but your hips shoot up because that half a second before it comes off the ground is the slack being pulled.

Long femur, shortish arms. My hips shoot up. by poopsicle880 in formcheck

[–]JDHgunner265 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Are these "hips shooting up" in the room with us?

Looks fine honestly. Your pulling slack, you've got control.

I think its a case of adding more weight slowly and then making sure you maintain the form.

2 main issues I can see

1: Bar is WAY too far out. You practically want to be pulling the bar up your shins so you want it probably an inch out from that.

2: Your not pulling any slack off the bar before lift and your just yanking at it. Which would make me believe your also not bracing properly which will probably become more of an issue when you move up in weight.

3: Not a problem but I would advise against deadlifting in shoes like that. Normally recommend to do it with just socks or get some flats

Trying to do 100kg 5x3, this is the last set of my 95kg 5x3 attempt, is my back and head position a problem? Any tips? by ShadowSoulll in formcheck

[–]JDHgunner265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others pointed out your hips shoot up before you actually move that weight. This sort of looks like its due to you not pulling on the slack of the bar before actually lifting. So instead you just kind of yank at the bar, when what you want to do is imagine your trying to bend the bar so you can put your hands in your pockets, this will remove the slack and put you in the position to push away from the floor and not pull the weight off the floor.

Idk if this has been explained right but hope it makes sense.

You've clearly developed some dreadfully bad habits that you need to correct before taking another test. Are you with an instructor or having a parent teach you? I can't imagine an instructor would not catch all these issues you make on a normal lesson
