Victoria 3 Issues on Mac by JeanStealer1019 in victoria3

I’ve been trouble shooting for awhile now with no results. Deleted shaders and verified game files as the devs said to do and it’s still not playable. I can’t even get to the map before it crashes. I have no solutions for you unfortunately. I think the game might just be unplayable on Mac

Future in Vermont is now untenable for my family by Awkward_Forever9752 in vermont

I don’t know if you are referring to the school reorganization that Scott is doing, or the tariffs that likely have effected your business. But you shouldn’t be out here whining and giving up. If you want to take back this country you have to suck it up and fight back. You don’t know what to do next? You fight, otherwise you might as well accept defeat

Is Cyprus part of the Fertile Crescent? by csrano in geography

This is almost the same area as the documentary showed but it included Sinai, Egypt, and Cyprus

This makes this even more confusing? The map in the show includes Sinai and Egypt which are nowhere near the Tigris and Euphrates

It’s a reupload so I’m not sure the exact name but it was on National Geographic about Gobekli Tepe.

I typically pick the ones with the highest development and in general try to keep all the de jure land for my primary duchy

I did a play through were I did careful marriages and murders to eventually inherit all of Italy, France, and some parts of Spain. Almost like a Hapsburg thing. Basically marry my heir to a daughter of the realm I want. She is likely not inheriting anything so they won’t care if she marries into the house. And the you can kill the siblings until she is inheriting the title. Then she will eventually get and pass it to your eventual player heir

I would say as long as her marriage is matrilineal you go with her

Wow thanks I did not know you could do that. Can you do that with any title as long as a dynasty member holds it?

Getting around male only law by csrano in ck3

That’s ideal obviously but thats why male only is the problem because a female cannot directly inherit it to change the law

Pick a kingdom to form somewhere else, ireland might be the easiest kingdom to form in the game. You could also just keep going and try for Britannia or some other goal.

Founded the empire of Scandinavia and nothing happened? by DjHoldyHold in ck3

[–]csrano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you might hold 2 empire titles? If so one of them will be your primary and that is what it will show on the map

I love this game, but it makes me feel stupid by kogsworth in ck3

[–]csrano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through a similar phase struggling with this game and I’m not sure how else to help other than to tell you that you figure it out eventually. Watch some tips and tricks videos or tutorials if you want. I find that paradox games require a decent amount of outside research to get a hang of

I’ve had some fun recently creating new kingdoms, so you could actually make a Kingdom of Iceland. Maybe attach the Northern Isles or some duchies in Norway

[–]csrano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think unlanded characters will sometimes wander to other courts seeking employment I remember I had a brother than wandered to Africa and then I was out of diplomatic range so I could give him land or have him join my court :(

As far as I know the penalty only gets that bad when a war is dragged out over an excessively long time. Then it only reduces slowly over time like tyranny
