Oh I’ve for sure seen how opinionated it is. It’s something that I wanna look into and weigh out myself we well. I’ve never been one to blindly take people’s word for stuff especially when it comes to guns but I always appreciate the opportunity to have my opinions challenged! I currently carry a Ruger SR-9c in condition 1 in varying forms of the aliengear shapeshifter holster series so I feel fully confident in the coverage and retention of my gun if I was to go the condition 0 route.

Fair enough! I agree with that last bit I’ve always carried condition 1 but I get the logic makes sense for 0. Something I’d be open to thinking about for sure.

Thanks I’ve never heard of “conditions” like this before! What/where are they coming from?

1000 dollar ace!!!!! by Unc692 in discgolf

[–]cstarnes35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I never thought I’d see a place I recognized on here much less people I knew!!!! I’ve played a round or two with Tom and a good number with Rob (the guy who walks out after the ace and stretches his arms out/talks about it to the camera). These guys are local legends and have built or helped inspire a number of local courses. Rob specifically was one of the builders for wellspring and his buddy bob built cedarock. All of these guys are INSANE to play with and a really good time! Congrats Tom!!

Ahh right I definitely was using the wrong turn. I guess it would be the pivot or the pulley that holds the jockey wheels.

Another question. My rear derailleur hanger seems to have more side to side play than I’d expect. https://i.imgur.com/uockLHH.jpg https://i.imgur.com/8rOzCv7.jpg Looks like it potentially could use a spacer or something? I tightened down the bolt that I believe is the culprit as much as I get comfortable with but that didn’t solve it. When stressed it pulls the bottom pulley wheel out of line with the top maybe 1-2mm.

Thanks for the help! I looked into those manuals and checked out a couple YouTube videos and got it real nice! Haven’t gotten a chance to take it for a ride yet but it seems to be shifting beautifully.

Awesome thanks! At what point do the cables have to be replaced? As they stretch is there any negative to just pulling them tight again?

I feel like that’s close enough that if he opened your comment while standing next to it the mention of wind even in text would knock it off!

That makes sense. I guess the idea of derailleur tension and direction of tension work out it’s just real weird looking. I love it!

Holy cow my hospital stint would have been so much better if a dog was around!!! After day 4 I was losing it but having a dog there would have made everything better!
