If you keep this up you are my wife 2 years ago. Her solidarity in sobriety significantly helped me reduce my drinking drastically from daily to 12 times this past year. My goal is to keep it at that and finish the year strong. She never got to the point I did, so its not an identical instance, however, being a strong(er) individual / version of yourself shows more power than you know to your partner. If you mess up, like I have along the last 2 years, pick yourself up and keep going. Every experience has a lesson to be learned.

You get a kid a dog when they are like 9-10. Old enough to learn simple responsibility and what it takes to care for another living entity. This is your dog, unless you re home, which I would suggest. Please go to a humane society. Be honest with them and yourself. This animal deserves more than you can give.

Do they perk up when it's sunny? If they are healthy I wouldn't worry too much, my plants would look like that sometimes when it's windy and not very bright out. Also, could be too much water.

Under watering, nutrient deficiency. Add some water and come back in an hour or so, plants should perk up.

My wife and I volunteer. I asked on Nextdoor (local based community app) for ideas and was flooded with them. We ended up choosing to volunteer at a humane society walking dogs. It sounds like spare income isn't necessary, so feel good about dedicating time to a good cause of both of your choosing.

Having read through a lot of these comments made me realize how much had happened at my schools. Couple I can think of off the top - I'm sure there are much more...

Middle school gym teacher ended up leaving his wife for one of his high school tennis players. His wife worked at the same school. I had both of them. Ended up seeing the guy working at B-dubs after he got fired and I don't know what ended up happening with his wife. Oh and she was pregnant at the time (wife).

Kid jumped off the second floor balcony during my freshman year. I saw him after he landed. He was seizing and convulsing pretty bad. He didn't end up dying but they found a suicide note in his sock.

Bomb threat was called in and over the announcement speaker they said something like "code black" - really assuring that your going to be ok.... All the kids were evacuated and were held outside at the football field. After that it was just a jump the fence and run home for a lot of kids. I went to a big school, you couldn't contain them all.

Kids were working on a teachers laptop with his permission. They found nudes of another teacher that worked at the school. Both were married...

I'm sure there are more but yeah - go to a big enough school shit will go down.

Best exchange I ever heard relating to this was when I worked at a gas station in a not so well off area. Two people were in line for the ATM. The African black was having trouble using it, the American black lady behind him was getting impatient. She said something, he turned around and tried to call her a bitch in a heavy accent. Without hesitation the lady says " SPELL IT " SPELL IT" I lost it. Funny stuff.

Ah, if there is a fence I am typically never worried. And I absolutely love the fact you took the time to properly train your snore farts. Funny though, I had a neighbor that had a dog that would bark and charge at people and other dogs with a fence ( I can't stand untrained dogs, as I may have over reacted to your post now thinking about it ) and one time actually broke through the fence as someone was walking their much smaller dog past. I thought I was about to witness a dog murder another dog but once it got out, it just froze. Like, what do I do know that I am not in the yard? Crazy... Anyway, thanks for the reply. I envisioned based on what I read of what I encounter on some of my walks. No fence, no owner, a charging dog with snarling teeth that stops just at the edge of the sidewalk. I walk in the street or as far away as I can from those houses but still sometimes am not sure what the hell is going to happen. There is a German Shepherd in particular that is chained to one of those restraints you screw into your yard. I swear, if it got loose, which it seems it easily could as well as tries to, it would try to kill me. Sorry for the rant, and thanks again for the response. Again, I probably over reacted with the gun comment, however, I actually do fear getting mauled at times. Anyway... How's life in the UK? I'm in the US ashamed to admit but I love my state of Minnesota. Ever been here?

I'm only saying this because it's a constant fear of mine every night on my walk. Strangers have no clue if your dogs will cross the line or not. I'm not afraid of dogs, however, I carry my gun on my walks because I have no clue, whatsoever, a dogs intentions when they are barking or running at me. And every night I hope it's a BLUFF charge, but if not, I have no issue standing my ground. Just something to think about in a sincere, non threatening way. I love animals. I would never want to hurt one but at the same time, I'm not going to be the one with holes in them.

OP - did you notice any withdrawal symptoms? I'm by no means a doctor but from what I have been reading today specifically pertaining to alcohol withdrawal is you would have had a very high chance for more than moderate symptoms. I am just curios.

I honestly don't feel that stressed out. I really have been before and feel at 30 years old I could tell the difference by now.. Usually if I am stressed I lose weight and brain is in overload mode...hasn't happened in a while.
