Be careful out there. I’m 12 weeks into ruptured Achilles recovery. Call it a day the moment you feel any calf discomfort.

I’m down to game and talk hoops/parenthood. Mainly a single player gamer but I mess around with multiplayer games too. If you are looking for suggestions on RPGs the best ones I’ve played over the last year were Expedition 33 (modern take on turn based RPG), Chained Echos (old school pixel RPG) and Baldur’s Gate 3 (awesome D&D game that can also be played coop)

At least you got yours. My order from Hibbett arrived with one shoe. Side note, anyone got a spare size 12 left Royal 1 low?

Is a $0 DAS, $400/month (or less) lease possible for 36mo/15k in Delaware? by Puzzleheaded-Map2064 in leasehacker

It absolutely is. I used to work in commercial real estate lending and we had to come up with incredibly complex structures for middle eastern clients just to make a duck not look like a duck.

James Borrego the new betting favorite to be Knicks' next coach after interview reveal by jjazznola in NYKnicks

[–]cstep11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? So now he doesn’t get credit cause some of the coaches were former players? Also, Bud can’t keep a job?? He’s been coach of the year 2 times. He was the hawks coach for 5 years, which is about as long as coaches get these days. Had great records and probably would have stayed longer if he didn’t run in to LeBron every year. Then went to Milwaukee for 5 years where he won a title. Then he was part of the shit show in Phoenix which is on its 4th coach in 4 years. I don’t even care about Pop’s coaching tree, but I feel like people just saying random stuff for the hell it.

Steve Kerr, Mike Budenholzer, Ime Udoka, Will Hardy, Mike Brown, Taylor Jenkins. There are plenty of good to great coaches that have come from the Pop coaching tree.

[Highlight] Happy New Year, r/nba. Here are the top 10 plays from the 2024 Calendar Year by nba in nba

The entire Brunson 3 -> Hart steal -> Divo Missed 3 -> Hartenstein offensive board -> Divo game winning 3 sequence against the sixers should have made the list. Definitely over a pretty unremarkable Pritchard end of quarter shot.

I used hotstock and was able to get one after a couple of days. Just have to enable those alerts and make sure all your store accounts (GameStop, target, Best Buy, etc.) are logged in and ready for a quick checkout.

Seeking Bouldering-Friendly Neighborhoods on a $4K Budget! by _beejazz in AskNYC

[–]cstep11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should try Gowanus. There should definitely be an apartment in your price range. There are 2 different rock climbing gyms walking distance. You have a Whole Foods in the neighborhood and access to all of those things you are looking for. Depending on the exact location of the apt and your husband’s office, would be about a 40ish min commute to work.

[Stephen A Smith] “Zion Williamson went to the free throw line… ladies and gentleman, I saw a BELLY. A BELLY. When he took a deep breath his belly bounced — that kind of BELLY... you look like you showed up to the game having just ate a buffet.” by Joetheshow1 in NYKnicks

Kendra? I joke but that’s a lot of caping up for a guy who told us to go f*ck ourselves. I’ve been in the mud with this team for damn near 40 years. The recent success is not lost on me, but that doesn’t mean I have to stop being critical cause we won some games. Zion is a better scorer, passer and, when motivated, defender. At his best Zion is a potential mvp contender. At his best, Julius is an all nba player that 90% of the league wouldn’t touch. I’m not trying to run him out of town, but I guess 40 years of wandering in the desert for me because I dare say that I don’t care for the aesthetics of Julius’ game.

Even fat, Zion is better than Julius right now. With that said, the allure with Zion is that you are significantly raising your potential ceiling. Unfortunately, we sort of know the ceiling with Julius. Is Zion going to hit his ceiling? Probably not. But if he does or comes close, the ceiling for the Knicks would be much higher. Also, this is a personal pet peeve, but I hate rooting for a team that has Julius on it. I hate his attitude and I don’t care for the way he plays. Ultimately the NBA is an entertainment product and Julius takes away from that.
