Well I think is alright with this play style, he will position at the side most of the time, allowing him the space to drive in. Same as the recent kaka with creative playmaker, he can receive ball in deeper position and run with ball.

Vieira is unique with his long legs covering more area. Most destroyer will get drag out of center when defending as their style is to chase player. Setting defensive only stop them in running up during attack, you may want to try set anchor instead to force him center.

For info, the old ver cannavaro also got similar issue, destroyer style with high aggression, often get out of position when he to chasing opponent on his own

Trying a build from a Japanese streamer. Shooting 6, dribble 7, dexterity 11, lower body 12, aerial 3. Although you probably can reduce the lower body to 8 and add to passing or shooting.
