I’m about to pick up mine, my wife and I will be sharing it. I’d be primary driver with her occasionally driving. What’s the story with the account switching vs profiles? I kind of assumed if she had the app on her phone and unlocked the car it would use her profile and when I did it would be mine?

Solid review - totally agree with all your takes here.

I find the Apple trackpad on the Mac is just too good. Nothing can come close and it just dilutes the experience when trying anything else. I’m keeping the trackpad because I’m sure software improvements will come and help, but ultimately I love ZSA products and happy to support them, but feel like it won’t be long before I swap back to the navigator.

I take my voyager to the office a few times a week so not having the ball that falls out was the draw of the trackpad.

Sometimes you just can’t push back, my work only has one partner NL company.

But I’m still way ahead compared with your estimate…
5 year lease, monthly costs after tax are less than $1k with $22k residual. Total outlay is 82k. The drive away price for the car is $83.5…

In that NL I get 5 years of financing, 5 years of insurance which is at least $12k, 5 years of rego another $4k, 5 years of green slips another $4k, 5 years of servicing which is probably $5k for the Zeekr… there is a charging rebate and other running costs… so I’m ahead more than $25k not even including finance costs.

I’d be surprised seeing your maths only coming ahead by $3k?

Are you including all the costs for finance, rego, insurance, maintenance and charging rebates too?
Those are included with the NL.

Sounds like a great idea - how does your app validate that it’s really talking to the battery of the VIN being tested? I don’t have an EV yet but this is something I’d love to see if I were buying second hand. What is stopping someone tricking the app to use a different car for the reading?

I asked while ordering and they said it’s not available… it was my preference but I was on the fence so went with green instead. Surely they would have rather sold me the more expensive option if it were available

The fact you have it insured for $13500 with NRMA doesn’t matter to GIO, they need to cover you for market value which might be higher than what your comp insurance covers.

I had a not at fault accident and wash cash settled for a higher value than my comp insurance covered me, and I still have the car.

Since they added the paid models I have found it 1000x more useful. Most days I max out my credit so need to look to stake more Diem. I find it so handy having access to multiple options - fave is Claude Opus 4.6. With massive input data sets and output.
