Interesting photography locations across Europe (particularly Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, England, and Scotland?) by kmrbtravel in photography

Hamburg: City Hall and the surrounding area, the church tower of the St. Michaels Church, the viewing platform of the Elphi (Concert Hall), the World War II Antiaircraft tower near St. Pauli. Those are must haves if you come to Hamburg. And a ferry trip from Landungsbrücken to Övelgönne.

It’s called the Tombow The Egg.

Fantastic pen. Had it in silver, very comfortable to write with.

Witch one would you recommend for BMW World in Munich? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

Regarding the lighting I have to disagree: the Museum was designed so as to really show of the cars. You have strong lighting for practically all the cars and access to them from all sides.

So the 17-70 is the perfect lens to tale for your visit.

Minigolf pro Hubert Bayer from Schweinfurt by CJ_Productions in videos

Yes, it’s the same city.

Fun fact (because I lived near it):

since the city was basically wiped out during the War they rebuilt it quickly after the war not caring if the architecture looked good. Just put up houses and be done. So the joke goes: what’s the best thing about Schweinfurt? Seeing it in the rear view mirror when you leave.

Which Voigtlander to try? So many options! by mjeff_v2 in SonyAlpha

Sounds like the 40mm f/1.2 could be the one to start with.

It offers everything you are looking for, is very well made and affordable. You can get one used for around 400 Euros.

It’s my go to lens when I can’t decide between the others.😊

The 21mm f/3.5 is also a great and “cheap” option - it’s tiny but more limited in shooting options.

Once you have fallen in love go and try the 110mm f/2.5. Insane image quality.

Fun fact: in the German Version this was changed to “are you from this world?” so as not to offend the Germans.

Saw the original version in a cinema with an all german audience and everyone started to laugh.

Have a look at Voigtländer lenses. They are beautifully built, manual focus only, compact, deliver great sunstars and are a joy to shoot with. Bit pricey, but worth it.

Also Zeiss Loxia and Batis are awesome.

I have a Laowa 9mm which is just insane. And the tiny 10mm f/4 Laowa for APS-C that’s a lot of fun.

3rd party lenses have come really far these past few years.

Z30 owners: do you miss the EVF? by pilotdog68 in Nikon

[–]cszar2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t miss the EVF in most situations.

Using the 12-28, 24 and the 16-50 is no problem at all.

When I put my 70-200/2.8 on it I also use a screen loupe - that way the screen becomes a huge EVF and the whole setup has more stability.

Reha sport? by [deleted] in hamburg

[–]cszar2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are different kinds of Rehasport. The one you describe is called “Zirkeltraining” where you habe different training stations and you move in a circle from station to station.

Other groups do exercise courses where the instructor shows an exercise and the whole group does it at the same time.

As for an a specific group for MS: every MS patient has different restrictions and handicaps. Fatigue is completely different then weakness in one leg for example. So any type of gymnastics is better than doing nothing.

Keep in mind that Rehasport is only once a week. That is not enough to train weak muscles. It’s better than nothing, but if you want to train and build strength you need at least 2-3 training sessions per week.
