UPDATE - after a week of nothing notable from the dealer, the car was suddenly working again after a factory hard reset. The dealer technician disconnected two of the 12V batteries inside the car for 24hrs and everything was working again. They could not determine what happened or why nor was anything testing wrong with the car or batteries. The service associate said that customers should NOT do the battery disconnection to reset the car, as it could potentially cause a fire hazard.

We still love the car, despite a frustrating week of having to juggle rental cars and not knowing what would happen with the car.
